God of the Impossible

Hello Peeps!

I’ve been reminiscing about the awesomeness of God in my life lately. For those that don’t really know me, I’ll just do a short round up of what I’ve experienced in life. I’ve lived in several countries since the age of 4. The first place I lived in was in Berlin, Germany during the time when the Berlin wall was broken down to unite the east and west of Germany in 1989. I was pretty young back then, but I do remember that event being a very big deal when growing up. It’s only when I was older that I finally understood the significance of that event which occurred in 1989. Families that were divided by a wall could now reunite once a barrier was broken. If you think of this in a spiritual sense, there maybe barriers in your life that you are facing right now, and they may seem to be walls that are hard to tear down; however, with God on your side, not even a wall can keep you from fulfilling your destiny. If a wall that was intended to keep the East and West of Germany divided forever was torn down in 1989, then don’t you think that God can remove any barrier that presents itself as an obstacle in your life to move forward and operate at your full potential? God is able to do the seemingly impossible for you in your life if you just believe.

To continue on with a short summary of my life, I have also lived, in Australia, Kenya, China, and now reside as a citizen in Canada. After having lived in several countries, I’ve learned from experience, that we are easily apt to identify what is impossible to us if we remain focused on the barriers and hindrances we encounter in our journey to somewhere great. If we want to believe that nothing is impossible for us to achieve, we have to shift our mindset and perception of circumstances we face in our daily lives.

  • What may be perceived as an obstacle to one person, one will view as an opportunity.
  • What one may see as a blockage, another will see a passageway.
  • What one may see as a problem, another will derive at a solution all based on ones perception to a situation.

If you think positively in all that you face and do in your life, you are most likely to arrive at solutions to a problem much faster than the person who has a negative mindset. Those that think “I can” – will. Those that think “I will” – Do. If you don’t have this mindset, you won’t be able to achieve things at your fullest potential.

Luke 1:37 [Full Chapter] – For with God nothing will be impossible.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I can vouch for the fact that it certainly isn’t a simple task to have a positive mindset. In fact, it may be excruciatingly hard to cultivate such a mindset when bombarded with negative feedback, experiences and negative people surrounding you twenty-four-seven in your life. If you are in a situation that makes it difficult to see a light at the end of the tunnel, you may have to consider that you have to build a fight in you to break away from these negative relationships, negative associations, or the overall negative environment that you find yourself in.

Image result for God of the impossibleI remember a year ago, I was fighting emotionally, physically and spiritually to regain my memories that I had experienced loss through a viral infection I endured in the brain called encephalitis. I had to endure intense physical, emotional, and mental rehabilitation to regain my memories in order to create new synapses in my brain from the parts that were damaged from the viral infection. Losing your short-term memories, is like losing a part of your identity; however, despite all of that, I am thankful to God for His miraculous healing. It took over a year and a half to get back my personality to what it once was since short-term memory loss can affect your personality as well in that some people may register you as being not quite “all there”. Even though I went through this trial that I would never wish on anybody else, according to my family, I miraculously never forgot about God in this circumstance, and my family continued to faithfully pray for me to be restored to which I received my healing. My once suspended driver’s license was restored and people who I hadn’t seen in such a long time in my life were now reappearing back in my life again. What was used to knock me down, only made me stronger again because I held onto the belief that despite this trial I was facing, God was and will always be with me.

Do you believe that God is always with you in your situations?

In the fire but coming out unburned!

I feel that when we face a trial, we can easily be distracted and consumed with self-pity rather than remembering how God is able to take us through the fire like He did with Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in Daniel 3 .When you stand on the belief that God is able to take you through any trial victoriously, you will focus less on the discomfort, the pain, the betrayal, the hopelessness you may feel in your situation when you stand firm in your faith that God can take you through any of your circumstances if you simply believe. I’m not joking when I say that my recovery from this sickness was excruciatingly hard and difficult to endure, but when I consider that statistically, not many people recover from what I’ve had to endure (according to my doctor) successfully, I have to give God the highest praise for the miraculous work He has done in my life.

Image result for God of the impossibleI remember meeting up with a friend of mine this past week that I hadn’t seen in a few years and she couldn’t believe my story about having been sick and being in hospital and going through rehab for the past year and a half. Just because you’ve been in a fiery furnace doesn’t mean you have to smell like smoke when God takes you out of that trial in your life. That’s what I learned from the Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego story. Just because you may go through hell sometimes in life doesn’t mean you have to smell and look like you’ve been through it if you believe that God is able to take you out of it. You have to truly believe that God is able to do all things for you in your life. In my experience, I feel like I learned a lot about what endurance is, what perseverance is and who is really real with you when you go through a severe trial. What was meant to destroy you yesterday, will only make you stronger today when you have God on your side. You just have to remain faithful in your belief that God is able to revive, recover, and restore you, even when you feel broken. God will heal you and make you whole again, Amen. I pray that as you listen to this song by Lincoln Brewster today, just remember that God is with you always, Amen! God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Faithful Everyday – I Will Wait

Hello Peeps!

I just have two amazing songs to bless your spirit today. The first song is by David Dunn called Grace Will Lead Me Home.

Image result for Hagar and sarahThe last song I also have for you is by Lincoln Brewster  called While I Wait. I feel that the last song really ministered to me because how many of you can’t stand waiting for something that is promised to you to come? Whether it be a promotion, a job, a spouse, or hoping to have children or birth a business, etc etc…. God knows what the desires we have in our hearts are before we even ask Him, but that doesn’t mean as people, we may not be impatient to receiving these promises and take things into our own hands. Remember in the Book of Genesis when Moses and Sarah where waiting to birth Isaac, the child of promise, but then Sarah got impatient and felt like God had forgotten her and had suggested that her husband (Moses) lie with her servant Hagar to birth him a son to continue Moses’ genealogy? The idea seemed to make human sense to Sarah, but God new that there would be implications to such a suggestion unbeknown-st to Sarah. Unfortunately, Sarah was desperate and discouraged that she didn’t think this suggestion would affect her marriage in any way… Unfortunately, as you read on…you will see how much strife brewed after agreeing to do things Sarah’s way rather than waiting on God’s way to fulfill a promise.

Sarah’s servant Hagar did inevitably birth a son to Moses and named him Ishmael Genesis 16 , however, Sarah’s impatience and inability to trust God caused her to make this life changing mistake. Because Hagar was able to produce a son for Moses, Hagar used Sarah’s insecurities as a woman to taunt Sarah and make fun of her for her presumed infertility. Hagar simply assumed that Sarah would never be able to give birth to a child for Moses despite being his wife considering that Sarah was beyond child-bearing years to do so. HOWEVER, but God PEOPLE! BUT GOD!!!!!

Genesis 21:1-7

Isaac Is Born

21 And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him—whom Sarah bore to him—Isaac.[a] Then Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him. Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to himAnd Sarah said, “God has [b]made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.” She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”

God showed Hagar and Sarah that He is a God that is able to pull what seemed to be impossible and make it possible to those that BELIEVE. Sarah did give birth to Isaac as promised and this caused strife and enmity between her and Hagar. As a result of this strife, Hagar was then told by Moses to leave them as a result. In thinking about the end result of Sarah’s impatience and unbelief, what can you learn about this based on her situation? In reference to Hagar who taunted Sarah mercilessly, there’s this saying that goes, He who laughs first, laughs last. Just because people around you don’t see where it is that you are going, and poke fun at you based on how they see right now, doesn’t mean that what they say trumps what God will actually do for you if you put your complete TRUST IN THE LORD.

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.

Image result for Worship GodAlthough I used the birth of a child as an example, it is applicable to you in different aspects of your life. Like I said, it could apply to those who are waiting to birth a business idea, a child, or waiting for the right relationships to enter into your life to take you to where you ought to go in your destiny.

My message to you is that God hasn’t forgotten you even if you feel like you’ve been abandoned, forsaken, and waiting for a long time for a breakthrough. God is with you every step you take in your journey. While you wait, Trust in God and Worship Him as the song by Lincoln Brewster emphasizes. God is Faithful everyday, so just know that every promise God has for you, He is the One Who is sure to bring everything that He has for you to completion. So in the mean time, what do you do while waiting? The answer is simple….continue to Worship Him (GOD) Everyday. Worship God in Spirit and in Truth and God will definitely answer you in His Divine Timing. The question is, are you willing to Worship God while waiting? Think about that today as you listen to this song. God Bless You Everybody!

Faith Seekers: There is Power in the Name of Jesus!

faith comes by hearing

Hi Everbody!

I haven’t been able to type up much for the past few days because there’s been sooo much on my plate, but I just wanted to drop by and bless y’all with a powerful song by Tasha Cobbs called Break Every Chains. For the most part, I am blessed with the fact that God is so powerful, He can break every chain that keeps us captive in the Name of Jesus.

John 16:24

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

All we’ve got to do is ask in Jesus Name and these chains that keep us from progressing in life can be broken if we move by faith. We have to claim our freedom by faith.

Faith isn’t a passive force, it’s an active force that moves impossibilities to become possible.

This means that we all need to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. Faith isn’t a mere “feeling”, it’s a decision one makes that is translated into action. The truth is, we decide if we want to get healed or not. Like no one can force you to see the doctor…the Holy Spirit won’t force you to seek your healing or deliverance that is available to you today. YOU decide if you will have faith or not. Jesus can give you that which you need. If you need faith…ask for it. Remember….you don’t have to be the “Until now you haven’t asked nothing in My Name” -type person…. you should decide to be the asker.

Those that Ask from the Lord, often are the ones who end up receiving from the Lord. Faith is a decision; it’s a choice that produces a result.  Faithlessness doesn’t require anything…except for you to decide not to decide to have faith at all.

The famous saying that goes… “All evil needs to triumph is for good men(and women) to do nothing”. In the same way, your captivity is determined by you deciding to do NOTHING. Faith takes you places and breaks the barriers that keep you from moving forward. Faithlessness keeps you in bondage with all your problems. Captivity can be a choice if you decide to accept that as your status quo.  I say…. NOT MY PORTION!

What will you decide is your Portion today? Seek to increase your level of Faith and you will see amazing things happen.

God is waiting for FAITH SEEKERS!

God bless you everybody!

Demonstrating the Power of God: The Church on Fire

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

The Church of Jesus Christ Ablaze

Hi Everybody!

consuming-fire lion of Judah

Consuming fire of God – The Lion of Judah (Judah means Praise)

I hope everybody is having a wonderful Friday! So lately, the Lord has been impressing upon my heart about fueling a Church so that it is always on fire. As we all know, fire is a powerful heat source filled with energy that if not monitored or contained properly, it has the potential to go out of control and destroy everything in its path and at the same time if it is not properly fueled, it can also be quenched.

When I first got saved, I came to believe that we as people can become as powerful as the apostles in the Bible that could drive out demons, heal the sick and have a trail of miracles working in our lives. I have not changed my opinion on this matter. I believe that if the Bible says we can have the same authority, then we should be able to do the same thing. However, such things only work according to the proportion of our FAITH (Romans 12:6).

So the question is…. How much FAITH do we have regarding such spiritual giftings in the first place?

I believe that Churches should be so filled with the Holy Spirit that people don’t need to enter into the Church building to get their healing…they can get healed and delivered in the parking lot…they can get healed and delivered on their way to church…they can get healed and delivered by proxy. The signs and wonders that we want to have following us as Christians can only be witnessed by others through Faith demonstrated in Power by the unction of the Holy Spirit. The Power of God and the authority we all have in Christ should be so powerful that we should even have the kind of  faith like the Centurion that didn’t need to “see it to believe” in the Power of Jesus…all He needed to hear was a Word that it was done and that’s all the faith we need to see healings take place in our lives (Matthew 8:8). In that very hour, the servant of the centurion was healed (Matthew 8:12-14).

People of God, we are the mystery of God’s glory waiting to be revealed to the unbelievers — Christ in us the hope of Glory.

Colossians 1:27

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Unbelievers need to see Faith being demonstrated by the Church of God in order to believe. However, I think to some extent… the Church of Jesus Christ is rather complacent…rather unbelieving… If God did it once before…He is well able to do it again. However, do we believe that??????? I admit that there are areas in my life that I still tackle unbelief, but the whole point is, we need to make room for Faith to increase in our lives if we want signs and wonders to follow the Spiritual Warfaring Church.

heart ablazeThis year the Lord has been speaking to my heart about building up my Faith. Sometimes when you go through trials, your faith can get shakened, but that doesn’t mean that it gets extinguished. All your flame of faith requires to grow is fuel to make it burn ablaze. I feel like the Lord is revitalizing my faith. He is making me increase my cup. I don’t believe I have enough and that is why I seek more faith. I want a greater dispensation of God’s glory to be revealed; however, faith is required to make it manifest. I experienced a lot of hindrances last year…but God has always been my cheerleader to keep pressing on, to keep going….to not look at what it looks like right now….to not give up….to not worry about other people’s opinions of where you are going (or not going in their opinion). He (God) taught me to focus on His leading…focus on His direction…focus on His instruction and guidance….believe in the Word…believe in the Holy Spirit and do not lean onto your own understanding. As people we have limits but God is limitless so we must yield to the one that is able to break the barriers, to break the chains, to break the limits off and tap into the uncharted territories. Trust God and He will take you through your trials and provide for you as you continue in your undaunted faith.

The Church requires undaunted faith…unmovable faith, unshakeable faith to be a powerful Church. I remember praying a couple of days ago and the Lord spoke to my spirit and said “I’m going to teach you how to walk by faith this year”. I know that at my present capacity…I need to do things I’ve never done before…pursue greatness and not settle of less than the best. The vision I have for the powerful Church requires me to upgrade my knowledge and my understanding of the Word. God has given me some projects I need to fulfill before the year is done. I’m doing a lot of things that are stirring up the reverential fear of the Lord in me. God says, “Do it even if you are afraid…this will teach you what COURAGE is about”.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct[a] your paths.
I believe that as believers, our faith in God is experiential more than just a set of rules and guidelines we all follow as dogma. I experienced the bondage-breaking power of God in my life from demonic oppression in my dreams, suicidal thoughts and actions, and suffered issues with sleep-walking when I was growing up. The power of God is real to me…and these examples are but a few reasons why I believe God is real. God taught me that I can take authority over my nightmares and over some demonic experiences that I can’t really explain very well since there were various incidences…but for now, I’ll just call it spiritual oppression and that I could bind these forces and tell them where to go in the NAME OF JESUS and they would flee. The peace I experienced from being set free by this level of oppression fueled my faith in Jesus Christ. If God can set me free, I believe He is more than able to set other captives free.

miracles 2God is saying…”I want my Church to demonstrate their faith in POWER and in the authority I have already given them through my Son Jesus Christ”.

So Church, keep believing…keep trusting God, be bold, be daring, be courageous, believe in the authority that the Lord gives. We are only as powerful as our Faith allows us to be.

John 16:24

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

If you have a small proportion of Faith, then seek God to increase it. You have not if you ask not (James 4:2), so ask and it shall be given unto you, pressed down, shaken together and running over! HALLELUJAH

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

I believe that God wants His church to rise up and be a warfaring house operating in the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The same God of Yesterday, Today and Forever is looking for vessels that will be bold and courageous. Are you one of these that will step out into the deep like Peter who walked on water believing as he fixed His eyes on Jesus? If we want to do great things, we must fix our eyes towards the Author and Finisher of our FAITH (Hebrews 12:2). Let the Lord Jesus fill your cup of Faith today as you ask in His Holy and Mighty Name, AMEN!

Demons tremble at this mystery, that YOU have Christ in YOU the Hope of GLORY. Glory be to GOD Everybody!

I have two songs here from Fred Hammond called Glory to Glory to Glory & Show Yourself Strong. May these songs bless your spirit today Everybody!

Miracle Testimony: Nothing’s Impossible with God

In a quiet place in her heart, God revealed to her that He had made her well, that all the crying and heart-wrenching sobbing that she had experienced was part of the healing from the abuse that she had suffered. God revealed to Lisa that He would prepare her to go into the world and tell her story of healing to all who would listen.

Note: LifeSite News has published the remarkable testimony of 35-year-old Lisa Moeller, a former drug-addict lesbian who found Jesus. It’s a lengthy article, but for those who find it an applicable subject matter, well worth reading. The following is the last part of the report. Click on the link provided to read it in its entirety:

In the midst of her lesbian lifestyle, Lisa had an “unsettled feeling that it just wasn’t enough”. Through her depression and tears it began to dawn on her that she had a “God-shaped hole in my heart, and was wise enough to know nothing but Him would fill it.” She would pray: “God, please don’t let this be it for me,” all the time thinking her prayer futile since she “never believed in mixing my lifestyle and the Truth of God into one.”

But God, who honors the deepest desires of the human heart, must have heard the broken woman’s prayer.

Lisa Moeller As Lisa was on her way to Spokane in the summer of 2010 to collect signatures for a state ballot at a gay pride parade, she experienced a supernatural moment of God’s healing grace that turned her homosexual life upside-down.

“One night in my hotel, I went to bed completely homosexual. My mannerisms, dress, body language, etc., were all very masculine. I hated men, angry at every one for the abuse that I had suffered by a neighbor when I was a child”, she revealed. “When I awoke, there was a Presence in the room that I cannot find the words to completely explain. It was a peace I had never experienced before.”

Lisa was shocked the following morning by a new set of desires and inclinations that she began to experience right away.

She tuned the TV to a familiar female news anchor that would have normally found attractive and could not understand why she was not interested in her anymore. On her way to work that same morning, she caught herself watching a man jogging down the road, and she could not take her eyes off of him.

Lisa remembers panicking. She did not grasp the significance of what had happened to her. She broke down in overwhelming confusion. But, in a quiet place in her heart, God revealed to her that He had made her well, that all the crying and heart-wrenching sobbing that she had experienced was part of the healing from the abuse that she had suffered. God revealed to Lisa that He would prepare her to go into the world and tell her story of healing to all who would listen.

Lisa was distraught: How could she who did not know how to be a woman, dress like a woman, talk like a woman, or even walk like a woman become a part of God’s plan?

In an act of faith, Lisa put the restoration of her identity into the hands of God. As part of the healing journey she experienced a dramatic stripping away of “every resource in my life I ever attempted to hold onto.”

Gone were the romantic relationships. Gone were her close friends. She became separated from the destructive influences of her past life. Lisa learned to rely totally on God for her support. She learned to discern the voice of God above all other voices.

“Although the last two years were undoubtedly the loneliest and hardest two years of my life, I grew completely dependent on God” she said.

During moments of prayer, God revealed to Lisa the reason why she took on a masculine identity and treated her female partners so well. It was not because of her own insecurities, or because she wanted what was truly good for these women. Everything that Lisa did for her partners was really done on behalf of the little girl inside herself who was sexually abused. God revealed to Lisa that through her actions, she was attempting to heal herself from the abuse she had suffered as a little girl. But it proved to be an unending cycle, because she saw that no one can ever be the source of healing. Lisa understood that her yearning for healing was why she could never do enough for her partners. She learned that she could not heal herself because only God alone is the One Who heals . . .

After Lisa was healed that night at the hotel, or “delivered from homosexuality” as she likes to put it, she believes that God restored her identity as a woman and set authentic feminine inclinations and desires within her.

“Now I desire the things that my partners did. I want to be held, taken care of, protected, talked to sweetly, and treated gently,” she said. “My identity is now intact and safe in the hands of Jesus, and that is how He created me to feel.”

“Sometimes we carry so many burdens that are not our own … things we have no control of, questions and worries that do not rightfully belong to us. God wants you to do an inventory of your soul to see what you can find.”

“If you are carrying burdens that belong to Him, He wants them back. He is ready to lighten your load . . . I finally have peace and I owe it all to Jesus Christ. Not many people would look at a drug addict and a lesbian and dare make the statement: ‘One day she will serve the Lord.’ It sounds pretty ridiculous, but it happened.”

The Blood of Jesus – What is Living by Grace?

Hi Everybody!

It’s been a while since I wrote a post apart from my story telling time so I’m just getting back into that mode again today. Today, is a wonderful day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. For those of you that read my story about The Man by the Bus Stop , thank you very much for your input and encouragement. I was a little nervous about putting it up on Wpress at first but then I figured my fears are unfounded and just went and did it anyway. Many of you have caught on to what the message was about which is great because I was trying to convey it in the best way I could so that people don’t misinterpret the message. Using a lot of symbolism such as the red umbrella was a great mechanism for me to use to allude to the covering that we all share under the blood of Jesus Christ. There will definitely more stories to come once I get around to it.

We as the bride of Christ should not forget that our groom who is Jesus Christ awaits us in the coming last days. I think to a large extent we take life for granted and assume that living by grace alone is ok while some still continue to live lives that contradict this grace that we have on our lives. I think to a large extent people don’t seem to understand what true grace is. In my opinion, I believe that GRACE is a probationary period to change our ways as we pursue to walk in right standing before our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is the plumb-line used to measure those that are walking right next to him amongst His people since He is our righteousness. Many people think that just because the Blood of Jesus covers all sin, they think that they have a license to keep on sinning so long as they remember to plead the blood of Jesus over their lives on a regular basis. I think that for those who think this way, they are running into a dangerous corner of self-deception if they think that merely pleading the blood over yourself on a daily basis while not making an honest effort to change your ways is enough to keep you from going to hell. People, do not be deceived with this way of thinking!

When we repent, we  must actually turn completely around from doing evil and pursue towards the path of righteousness. It’s one thing to get saved, but it is totally another thing to keep and stay saved. Salvation starts off as a decision, but it doesn’t stop there because it is an ongoing  journey with the Lord until you reach the prize.

The question I have for people today is how far along have you gone along in this journey?

I know based on my own experiences that I have been challenged countless times, but at the end of the day, we must look at the road set before us and seriously consider the uphill battles we will face. These battles are called SPIRITUAL WARFARE. Salvation isn’t a walk in the park everybody. Whoever makes you assume that everything will be a candy cane experience after you accept Jesus Christ  as Lord isn’t telling you the entire story. Salvation is a mountain top that we seek to climb until we reach its peak. The higher up you climb, the higher the pressure and the more difficult it becomes to breathe that you will feel like fainting or collapsing just because the pressure is that great when pursuing such high altitudes. Many people start off great, thinking that the  walk along the base of a  mountain seems to be easy, but as you continue to push forward on upwards, you will realize the reality of the battles that lay before  you and ahead of you as you continue to climb. Even though that is the case, keep pressing forward and never give up!  At such times we need divine assistance in our uphill battles and that is when we call on the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us. We must never forget to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), to walk in the Spirit and not in the Flesh (Romans 8:4) when we decide to take up the cross and walk in the journey that God has set before us.

Yes, you will encounter days where you feel like giving up and that is where you sit on the journey to later get back up again after taking a breather rather than turn around and walk back down the mountain. Take a breather each time you encounter battle fatigue. Rest is better than resignation because you regain your energy during that time in order to continue on the journey. When you resign from the journey, you completely lose drive and purpose and eventually end up going back to the same place where you felt most comfortable which is called your “COMFORT ZONE”. Walking up a mountain is no joke…believe me…I’ve done it before and I don’t know if I’ll ever do that again; However, staying at the base of it never trying to push beyond your limits is also a dis-service to yourself as well. I know I have comfort zones that I need to tackle and sometimes I get really irked out when some people try to push me off the ledge and into the water. It is at those moments where you decide to either sink or swim. Hopefully, you decide to swim because sinking should never be the option at the end of the day.

So when you walk with the Lord in your daily battles, remember to thank God for the blood that is able to cover us each day since His mercies are new each morning (Lamentations 3:22-24). Thank God for the grace in your lives, but don’t take the Lord’s grace over your life for granted. Remember that the Lord’s grace is like a probationary period to change your ways. Just like our worldly legal system provides a grace period for people to change their conduct, this probationary period also has an expiry date to consider the final outcome during sentencing. Ensure that your life is measuring up to a sentence that drops all charges over you rather than incurring judgment because of deciding to violate your probationary period. God’s grace is a probationary period to change your ways…so decide to stay saved.

We are entering into a new season since we are in the ninth month of this year. The number nine biblically means judgement so we cannot fool with this season. We have only 4 months of this year left before we reach the end of the year of God’s divine Government being established. I believe that revivals are going to break forth like we’ve never seen before. I believe that we’re going to see a greater manifestation of God’s grace in our lives if we believe for it. There will be a season of miracles that will become like the talk of the town during that season. All of these things are yet to come if we believe. There will be a greater dispensation of God’s spirit on the present generation rising. I believe all these things by faith. I speak all of these things into the atmosphere seeking God’s Will will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.  Praise God for the new things that will and are yet to occur. God is definitely focused on His bride so prepare yourself Body of Christ for the arrival of our groom.

War-ship- We shall sing Songs of Deliverance

Hi Everybody!

Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

I woke up today thinking that it’s time we sing new songs and I believe we need to sing songs of Deliverance. Deliverance and Healing is the Children’s bread (Matthew 15:25-27 ; Mark 7:27). I’ve been reading a book called Let Our Children Go! by Rebecca Greenwood that was recommended to me by a friend and it covers many topics that deal with the demonic and occultic  influences that are harming and influencing our present generation. I’ve learned quite a lot in that book and totally recommend every parent to go get that book if they see their children struggling with things that seem beyond their control. It will seriously sharpen your discernment and give you some spiritual insight on how to effectively pray for your children.

If this book  had been written years ago, I think I would have benefited greatly from it had I known what in the world I was dealing with when I was growing up. I suffered a lot of spiritual oppression in my dream life as I was growing up as a kid and I also suffered from supernatural physical attacks that were unexplainable to both me and my grandparents although they had some suspicions that it was occult related. There were certain distant relatives and so-called family acqaintances and friends that actively participated in the practice of witchcraft and the occult behind closed doors unbeknownst to us and when I discovered their true nature it explained a lot of things that I was suffering from since the day I was born. This is why it is important to seek knowledge in order to understand what it is that you are dealing with so that you will know how to pray effectively with wisdom and discernment in regards to intercession rather than praying in vain constantly missing the target in your prayers because of a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

When I got saved, I was hungry for knowledge regarding healing and deliverance after reading certain books that my mom gave me that revealed what it was exactly that I was suffering from. The one book I read that contributed to me giving up my life to Jesus at the age of 15 was from Dr. Rebecca Brown MD called He Came to set the Captives Free. That book changed my life forever.  Ever since I was set free from the stuff I was being oppressed by, my passion has been in the area of healing and deliverance specifically. I’m still reading many books on the topic because there is soo much to learn regarding it and considering how society is always changing every 10 years, you will discover that the methods to trap children in cycles of oppression are becoming more subtle and more devious as the days get evil, so it is important to constantly be in a state where you are up to date with knowledge in order to deal with the new things that are popping up to trap the new genearation into new forms of bondages. Other books by Rebecca Brown MD are Prepare for War, Vessels of Honor, and Unbroken Curses (which I highly recommend…hmm. I seem to highly recommend a lot of books lol 😀 ).

When I received my deliverance, I was sooooo blessed of God, that inside me, I wished that I had known all about this stuff earlier. Now my greatest desire as a worshiper is to see other people set free from bondage and chains of injustices brought upon by strongholds that are in their lives. God wants to see His Children set free from demonic oppression and generational curses so that we become what God intended us to be, and that is a victorious Spiritual Warfaring Church as the Bride of Christ. Sometimes people suffer many of these types of things I have described here because they lack information of what they are truly dealing with here, so get read up on the topic of deliverance if you want to see healing and household salvation come into your homes. You have to do something practical if you want to see things happen supernatural. I think at some point I will list some great books on deliverance later on depending on how many people respond and inquire about it in days to come. I’m still a student on the topic of deliverance and I can tell you that my prayer life has changed dramatically as I continue to read on and gain more knowledge. Knowledge is power people. That’s why it is necessary to gain it if you want to be victorious.

The Lord is impressing upon my heart that we need to sing new songs as of late. The title of my post is not a miss-spelling. I deliberately entitled it War-ship and not worship because worship is a type of warfare weapon that is not carnal but is Mighty through God in the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We can praise our way through our Red sea situations as we cross over to the other side from captivity into freedom and safety; We can also praise our Jericho walls down with a mighty shout of victory; We can be like Gideon holding a trumpet in one hand and a torch in another entering into battle and literally war-shiping our way into victory! Praise is our weapon so let us wear garments of Praise.

Worship is a supernatural activity of warfare that manifests victories in the natural. It is not a sing-a-song-that-tickles-my-fancy type of concert. We must learn to revere our God when we War-ship Him because He is a Holy God. Unfortunately, we take worship for granted and that is why some churches remain bound by demonic influences in their congregations becuase they don’t understand how powerful worship really is. If the Church only knew…we would be a force to be reckoned with.

We need to change our outlook on Praise and Worship and really start to make it be what it was intended for. I believe that healing and deliverance should take place every time we are engaged in an atmosphere of praise and worship. Why do some churches experience healing and deliverance and others don’t? It’s because we don’t understand our weapons of warfare. We don’t seem to understand the battle we are in every time we enter into God Courts of Praise. Where God is, Victory follows; Where God is, healing comes; Where God is, Deliverance is possible; Where God is, we become WHOLE; Where God is, we become Sons of GOD. Do you understand where I’m going with this?

So today, Fix your eyes on Jesus , the Author and Finisher of our FAITH (Hebrews 12:2)and consider that we need to step our game up in WAR-SHIP WORSHIP. Pick up the full armor of GOD and WAR-SHIP with Victory in mind. God seeks those who will Worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH. Seek to do this and you’ll see amazing things happen as you enter into His courts with Praise and thanksgiving. Miracles are always present in Worship, AMEN!

I have a song here by Rotoya Williams called Songs of Deliverance. May it bless you all today Everybody!

“It Doesn’t Make Sense!”

Hello Everybody!

When you look through the Bible we see that there were many miracles that were performed and many were initiated after ACTS of obedience. It is important to note how acts of obedience are tied to miracles and supernatural moves of God. I believe that miracles are always happening everyday but we just have to learn to be obedient in order to see how they are happening everyday. Sometimes, God asks us to do something out of the ordinary and when you try to rationalize what God is thinking it may seem like you heard incorrectly because sometimes He requests us to do things that don’t make any sense.

1 Corinthians 2:16
For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Have you ever been in a situation where you heard in your spirit that you must do something but you tried to rationalize it away thinking that you weren’t hearing properly and probably rebuked the suggestion thinking it’s not of God when really it’s the Holy Spirit telling you to do something? I have been there many times and when you think about it, a lot of things God asks of us to do don’t always make sense, but when we learn to obey Him in the thing that sounds ridiculous, we see amazing things happen.

Think about it, if Moses didn’t stretch out his rod over the Red Sea as God had commanded him to, the Bible would have ended at Exodus  with Pharoah probably killing off the Jews and taking many of them back into captivity had Moses decided to ignore the voice of God to do something that didn’t make sense. The future of Israel was on the other side of the Red Sea and that future could have been extinguished at the shoreline had Moses said “But God this doesn’t make any sense!”.

What we hope to achieve in this life is tied to how much we move and do things that don’t make any sense to anyone.

The greatest inventions such as the Thomas Edison’s light bulb and the airplane that could fly by the Wright brothers were all invented at a time where people thought such things cannot be because they have never seen such things before and they didn’t make any sense. Just because you haven’t seen a miracle happen doesn’t mean miracles don’t or won’t happen. I think that if we keep trying to do things in our own might and power, we leave no room for the unexpected. The unexpected is cultivated by acts of obedience. When you decide to just do something different even when faced with the threat of ridicule and unbelief, you step into the Faith Zone that carries you towards the Miracle Zone and God always brings PROVISION for the VISION when you decide to walk in His Will.

It is possible to walk everyday in the Miracle zone if you allow yourself to walk in God’s Will Also consider that people are stimulated by shock value and most of the time it’s negative. Miracles should be our shock value daily because when they are from God they are always positive. We no longer pursue miracles because we live in a state of mind that thinks everything that has been done has already been done before. I’m here to tell you…there are greater things yet to come if you believe for it. I personally want to see things I’ve never seen before, don’t you? Like Moses, stretch out your faith and focus on seeing greater miracles than these and remember that you can only see a miracle when you ACT in Obedience. Stop ignoring the ridiculous and go for it. You have to do your part by acting on your faith rather than sitting there waiting for it to happen. Miracles are activated by ACTION. Whose action you ask? Yours! so MOVE! Moses performed an action by stretching out his rod and the Red Sea Divided, so you have to do the same and act by faith to see things happen. This message isn’t just for you only, because I feel that it is also for me as well. So I’ll step out and do different things in pursuit of my miracles in my life. Each person has a portion of miracles that are specifically assigned and designed by God for their destiny and are only activated by the power of your faith in action, so think about what you have to do in order to see your portion manifest itself today, Amen!

I have a song from the Prince of Egypt Cartoon that came to mind when I wrote this up called When You Believe performed by Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston. May this song minister to you today. God bless you everybody!

Scriptures to Meditate

Isaiah 55:8
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

Exodus 7:9
“When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’”

Galatians 3:4- (NKJV)

Have you suffered so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain?

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?— just as Abraham “believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Isaiah 64:4
For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Miracles: Entrusting the Delicate in God’s Hands

Hi Everybody!

I was thinking about what I should write about today and started to read some inspirational stories and one of them that I read today is called Open the Rose.  Have a read.

              OPEN THE ROSE

A young, new preacher was walking with an older, more seasoned preacher in the garden one day and feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was inquiring of the older preacher. The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals.

The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the WILL OF GOD for his life and for his ministry. Because of his high respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to TRY to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact…It wasn’t long before he realized how it was impossible to do so.

Noticing the younger preacher’s inability to unfold the rosebud while keeping it intact, the older preacher began to tell the following poem…

It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of GOD’s design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
When in my hands they fade and die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of GOD’s design,
Then how can I think I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So I’ll trust in Him for His leading
Each moment of every day.
I will look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.
The pathway that lies before me,
Only my heavenly Father knows.
I’ll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.

After reading this I thought to myself that many a time in our lives we often try to manage that which should be handled with the Divine.

When you think of how God works intricately in the fine details of our lives, the most important factor to any outcome is based on our measure of Faith.

In the same way where God says to us that those who are trusted with little can be trusted with much, He too is in this equation. If we can trust God with little, we should be able to trust Him for much, but how often do we allow God to function in the fine details of our lives? We in a way have a natural tendency to rely a lot on our human capacity to rationalize things and reason, but when we think of areas that require miracles…what room does rationality and reason play in such instances?

I think to some extent we no longer seek miracles because we are too busy trying to work out everything within our human limitations and capabilities even if they become done in vain. However, when our limitations are fully realized we then turn to God for miracles.

I feel that each day is a miracle and that when you start to thank God for every little victory you had in your day like for example, you needed something to work and function properly at work and for some reason…your computer starts acting up….pray for God to intervene…and poof voila…God starts making it work for you… (Disclaimer: I’m not saying that this happens all the time… this is a hypothetical example of your faith in action to seek God in this fictitious example).

Now it’s easy to forget to say “THANK YOU” in such instances because we just see it as a technical error…but if you prayed and then it started working…God must get the Glory even for such a small matter. I know that I have issues sometimes with technology and I pray for God to intervene…and let me tell you, it works people, but that’s all dependent on whether or not you can even trust God for even the minor details of your lives. It’s easy to explain it away as a technical glitch and ignore how God had a role to play to make it work…but that’s where we need to repent and give God honor where honor is due. You can’t claim miracles that were divine in nature to be your own doing when GOD divinely intervened by your faith in action through prayer.

This is how we drown out God in the fine details of our lives. We cannot afford to be this ungrateful to our Father God. Praise Him, Thank Him and INCLUDE HIM in all that you do. He is Sovereign and if you want Him to be Lord over your life… include Him in the minor details. You’ll always have a reason to give Him praise after that. He will feel moved to bless you more and more when you remember the name of the LORD.

The question is….where, what and whom are you putting our trust in????
Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

What I’m trying to say today is that… learn to trust God for little so that you can cultivate an attitude that is receptive to even larger and greater miracles yet to come in your life.

When you thank Him for the small stuff…it won’t be hard to give Him glory for even the big things. God is your beginning and the end of each day….so thank and praise Him every chance you get. The more you do this…the more you will start to see GOD operating in your life and in even in the minute details of your life. Some people lay in wait for big miracles to see God…but I’m telling you that miracles are happening everyday….but you have to consider the small ones first so that you can appreciate the big ones when they start to arrive at your address.

God loves to walk and talk with people all the time….but are we inclined to do the same?

We tune Him out of our lives very often when we try to manage everything in our limited human capacities and levels of understanding. If you want to understand God, allow Him in the minor details of your life so that you can see Him in the major details of your life. Don’t expect Big things from the Lord when you can’t even expect for Him to be present in something small. Consider that you reading this today is a miracle because you have eyes to see whereas a percentage of the population in this world is blind.

Food for thought. Marinate in this thought Today.

I have a song to minister to you today from  Marvin Sapp called Lift those Hands. May it bless you today everybody!

Revival of God’s Image in Us – The Breath of Life

via mtrevival.com

Hello Everybody!

Today my meditation comes with the feeling of wanting to see a MODERN DAY REVIVAL! I’ve been thinking about it for a while but when was the last revival apart from the Azusa Street Revival that was massive in its day in April 16, 1906 where there were workings of miracles, massive reception of the gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT? I want to see REVIVALS break out on a Global Scale. I know what I’m saying sounds ridiculous and probably dangerous but I want to see Massive Revivals not on a Nationwide scale but on a Global Scale. Can you imagine many Churches all having a Revival in the same Year? I can only say Faith can take us to such an amazing Vision so I’m speaking out by Faith in the Blogosphere for such a thing to Manifest itself. I want to see JOEL 2:28-29 in action people! Especially in the West where we have drowned out the Sound of the Divine Alarm, Make Ye Straight The Way of The LORD! Revivals shouldn’t be something we merely read in History books, I want to see these things take place in my lifetime but on a Grand Scale. This Year of Divine Government, we should pray and declare for REVIVAL on a Global Scale. I know that my blog has an international audience so for those reading, Start Praying for Revival in your Countries and Watch GOD MOVE. When a church becomes One in Mind, One in Spirit and One to Worship the Only God, you’ll be amazed at how the Spirit of the Lord will move.

Remember how God made Man and Woman in His own image and likeness in the book of Genesis 1:27 – So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  The name Adam is Hebrew for “Man”; or “Mankind” so literally Adam was called Man. Adam was just a body that would have remained an empty shell until God’s breath of life came into that shell indwelling in him & her and it is that life that he & she became Sons of God formed in His Image and likeness. He and she are always referred to as the “first Adam” whereas Jesus is referred to as the “last Adam” in 1 Corinthians 15:45 (NIV) – So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being“; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

It is Interesting to note the two distinctions:

1.) One being that the “First Man” was just a “living being” meaning that he and she were a “living being” with the breath of God’s life in him/her.

2.) The second being that the “Last Man” is Christ who was and is a “Life-giving spirit” in the form of a man.

God is the one who breathed life into Adam and therefore is the “GIVER OF LIFE”, then it stands to reason that the first Adam was not able to breathe life into another because only God could do that.

When both Adam and Eve sinned by listening to the Devil and defying one commandment to not eat of the Fruit of good and evil in the Garden of Eden, their state of God breathed Life started to die at that moment because what was in them was the Holy Spirit. Sin caused spiritual death and if you read through the books from the genealogy of Abraham going forward, you will notice that the number of years that man could live significantly decreased in that we once were able to live for hundreds of years in age because the breath of life which is from God is an Eternal kind of breath. If you look at our current life expectancy to this day, you can see that it is a now only a “miracle” if many of us can live to the age of 100. This is the consequence of all of us living in a state of fallen Grace.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

When Jesus Christ came, it was only then that God was able to give life back into man as a Man on Earth to reinstate the original design which was God in Us through the Holy Spirit. This is evidence of God with us and dwelling among us in the New testament, but the buck doesn’t stop there folks! An amazing thing happens in the book of John after Jesus resurrects from the Dead. He meets His Disciples and then Breathes on ALL of them that were present (save Thomas) and commissions them to be APOSTLES! Did you catch that?  I said, HE BREATHES on the DISCIPLES and they are commissioned as APOSTLES! God’s BREATH OF LIFE yet again in action. The disciples had already received the HOLY SPIRIT prior to the upper room experience that they had in ACTS 2. The Acts 2 experience was the activation of the GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

John 20:19-23

The Apostles Commissioned

19 Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled,[c] for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

There are two separate events here folks.

1) The receiving of the Holy Spirit in the book of John breathed onto them by Jesus, and then

2) The activation of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts.

wow…I feel like I’m preaching but I think you understand my point right. This is such a sweet revelation.

The disciples became SONS OF GOD at that moment. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to understand these two phenomenons so that you understand how we are the SONS of GOD on Earth after we are saved (born again), baptized, and receive the Gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT. It is mandatory that we operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we need to be ignited to operate in the fullness of our callings as Sons of God, the question is…Do people even recognize the importance of the Holy Spirit in their life?

Are you walking in the Spirit as a Christian or are you still acting like a Christian walking like a dead man by ignoring the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you the Hope of Glory?

What are we doing to quench the operation of the Holy Spirit in our lives?

When we grieve the Holy Spirit, we cannot function with the authority and inheritance as Sons of God, because clearly, you ABSOLUTELY need the HOLY SPIRIT to operate as a Son of God and you also must pursue the gifts of the Holy Spirit to function in the fullness of that call.

So my last Question is:

Ask yourself today, are you walking in the Spirit that is ETERNAL or are you walking in the FLESH that will soon pass away?

Wow, so friends, lets start believing in this A NEW WAVE of GODS BREATH on us so that we can be SONS OF GOD in this YEAR of 2012 – YEAR OF DIVINE GOVERNMENT. I want to see revival!!!!!!!!!! Can I get an AMEN!

Please read the Guest Post on the same topic of Revival By Tanya: A Prayer For Revival…It Starts In YOU

I have an awesome song today by Cece Winans called Hallelujah PRAISE! Indeed, let everything that Hath breath praise the LORD! Stay Blessed Everybody!

Scriptures to Meditate

JOEL 2:28-29

God’s Spirit Poured Out

28 “And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

That You May Believe

30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Psalm 150:6
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
