He Gotcha!

Happy Sunday Peeps!

I just had to post this song by Virtue called He Gotcha to encourage you today. Life is a series of tests and testimonies depending on how you look at your life. Everybody likes prizes but they don’t like the tests life brings in order to get the prize. The prize for us as Christians is us moving towards the upward call of God through Jesus Christ as it is mentioned in Philippians 3:14:

Philippians 3:14 [Full Chapter]
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

A prize for us can be various things that matter to us…such as a dream job, position, wife, husband, a child, a vacation, an opportunity etc etc. Whatever it is that we deem as a “prize” is what people press forward towards as a goal until they obtain it. There is no guarantee that once you’ve obtained the thing that you desired, that happiness is sure to follow. In some cases, people pursue things with selfish and impure motives which can cause one to lust after other people’s things which can never be a good thing. But then there are those that have a healthy desire to pursue things with pure motivations and intentions, and simply need the guidance that the Lord provides to get the things that they desire in legitimate ways when you first put the desires of your heart in God’s hands through prayer. The key word here is “PRAYER”. Prayer is essential when seeking to satisfy the desires of your heart because you always want to remain walking in the will of God for your life. Many things will pass away in this life, but God’s Word (The Bible) stands firm forever!

Philippians 4:6 [Full Chapter]
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Daniel 9:3 – Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes

However, with respect to these things, I think that as Christians, we can’t leave God on the back burner of our “plans” if He isn’t at the center of our lives. In the Word of God, it says that we must first seek the Kingdom of God before we go out and pursue anything else if you look at this scripture:

Matthew 6:33 [Full Chapter]
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The moment you put God first in every area of your life, He will guide you to the things you have need of and the things you desire in legitimate ways by placing the right people in your life to guide your footsteps in the right direction. He will sharpen your discernment and give you supernatural wisdom to pursue things in unconventional ways in order to show you that He is the God that will fight for you and support your cause if you have your heart in the right place.

1 Kings 9:3 – And the Lord said to him: “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built to put My name there forever, and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

Isaiah 59:21 – “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.”

Psalm 119:160 – The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.

1 Peter 1:25 – But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Again I say, people like Prizes, but they don’t like the race that they have to run in order to obtain the prizes that the Lord has for us in this life. If you think of an obstacle race, there are hurdles one has to jump over before they get to the finish line. In this life, there will be Trouble (hurdles you’ll have to jump over), but take heart, you will overcome them (jump over each hurdle) and overcome the world and get to the finish line. Remember, that the race you have in this life is not for the swift or for the strong, it is for those that endure until the very end. Don’t look at those that seem to be “making it” in life right now…you don’t know what race they had to run to get to where they are. Looking at someone else poses as a distraction to your own race that you have to finish. SO my message today is focus on your own race and fix your eyes on the prize which is Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your Faith, Amen!

Hebrews 12:2 – looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

When you focus on Jesus as your goal, everything you want in life will be added to you because you’ve maintained the “right focus”. So today, ask yourself, where is your focus? Are you focusing on the right things? You may fall as you run your race, but get back up again and keep pressing forward because God will help you get to your finish line, Amen. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it encourage you today, in Jesus’ Name. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

You Deserve!

Hello Peeps!

I just have to post this song by Virtue called You Deserve! Honestly, this past week has been challenging for me but I can tell you that prayer always changes things. The Holy Spirit has been telling me “Keep asking in this season and you will receive the things that you are asking for”. I have just been doing that. I’ve had issues rise up at work and when I pray and ask for God’s help in a situation that seems impossible, all of a sudden minutes later, things start to work or things that were a no initially, become a yes. Things that seemingly seem impossible to accomplish all of a sudden things start to work to make things happen. You have not if you ask not, so keep asking is my message to you today. Keep asking God to do the seemingly impossible things for you and you will see things happen in ways you cannot even begin to imagine of believe. Sometimes I put a seed offering down (Faith seed) when I’m at church asking God to help me in a situation and literally, I saw this week the Hand of God moving in my situations.

The substance of Your Faith can only increase at the level of your sacrifice.

Hebrews 11:1 [Full Chapter]
By Faith We Understand ] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

How difficult must it have been for Abraham to prove his faithfulness to God by choosing to sacrifice to God his long awaited Son Isaac.

When Abraham sought to sacrifice his long awaited Son Isaac to the Lord to prove his faithfulness to the Lord, and the Lord saw that the level of Abraham’s faith was at the level of giving up what he treasured most, God chose to bless and increase Abraham bountifully because of his heart of faithfulness towards the Lord. Abraham loved God so much that he was willing to sacrifice that which was dear to him to prove it. The thing is, in this life we have many things we treasure, but is it at the level of Abrahamic faith? God didn’t really want Abraham to kill his son, but He definitely wanted to know what was in Abraham’s heart. Sometimes, we put people before God and end up not realizing that our heart is misplaced in our relationship with God. People can’t ultimately make you happy because God is the source of our Joy. However, how many of us truly acknowledge that?

Honestly, I had to question myself on that one. Sometimes, we will be asked of the Lord to do difficult things, but that is when our truth Faith is tested, so my message to you is to be a sober Christian, and remember that where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:21– For where your treasure isthere your heart will be also.

Luke 12:34 – For where your treasure isthere your heart will be also.

I pray that as you listen to this song, you will remain sober, humble and remember that everything we have in this life belongs to God. This also includes our worship. We worship Him in tithes and offerings and with the praises that come out of our mouths, so my fellow Brothers and Sisters, remember, that God deserves all the Glory, all the Power and all the Praise, Amen. I pray that this song by Virtue called You Deserve blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Psalm 119:7 NKJV I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.

Motivation Thursday: Walk It Out!

Hi Peeps!

Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV – ‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

I just had to post this awesome song by Virtue that’s my current jam right now called Walk It Out. If you want certain things to happen in your life, simply “wishing” for things to happen won’t bring what you desire to your address if you don’t apply work and action to pursue the things you desire. You really have to walk by faith to get the things you seek from God. Take a step of faith. It seems easier said than done which is true, but sometimes people get distracted by the obstacles they see around them that they fail to fix their eyes on the prize. Walk by faith and not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 [Full Chapter]
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

I pray that as you listen to this song, may it pump you up to know that when you decide to walk by faith, nothing can stop you from achieving the thing that you desire to see in your life when you have God on your side. God is more impressed with those that walk by faith than those that simply go by what they see because Faith requires work where as things handed to you on a silver platter require no work at all. So increase your expectations and be driven to walk by faith and not by what others say or by the things that you see that seem to show you a picture that doesn’t aim at the prize of what you desire. Keep your focus on God and you’ll see amazing things happen, Amen! I hope that this song pumps you up today. God bless you Everybody! 🙂

You Changed My Name

Hello Peeps!

I have this amazing song by Jaye Thomas & Laura Hackett Park called Family. It’s amazing that when a child is adopted into a family, they take on the name of the family that they are adopted into. Likewise, when we take on the identity of Christ and become “Born Again” through water baptism to take on the identity as a “Christ-Believer” by becoming a Christian, we change our names in a way in that we have now become adopted Sons and Daughters of the New Covenant of Christ’s blood and have become Sons and Daughters of the Living God. Salvation comes when we choose to believe that Jesus Christ is indeed the Truth, the Life and the Way:

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Let’s also look at the first chapter of Ephesians:

Ephesians 1 (NIV)

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,

To God’s holy people in Ephesus,[a] the faithful in Christ Jesus:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he lovesIn him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, he[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

11 In him we were also chosen,[e] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. 22 And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church,23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

When you read these Verses of Scriptures, just remember that when you were once far away from God, it didn’t matter what mess you were in or how bad you thought you were that you didn’t think anyone could forgive you let alone God to forgive you. God loves you with an everlasting love that He still wants us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. Don’t accept the identity that the World labels you… some people may call you a loser, a failure, a dunce, a weakling, a has-been or just a nothing that shouldn’t have even been born. Do not go by the World’s definition of your worth. You are God’s prized possession and a great inheritance. You are worth dying for and worth resurrecting for and that is why God wants us to understand that your worth is not built on how the “World” defines you. It is built on who He has called you to be, and that is to be a Child of God. Remember that Jesus did not go on the cross in vain… He did that for you and me so that we could be part of His Family as Children of the Most High God.

John 1:11-13 (NKJV)

11 He came to His [a]own, and His [b]own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [c]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

I pray that as you listen to this song, may it bless your Spirit today. God Bless you everybody! 🙂

There Will Be Victory Here!

Hello Peeps!

Today, is Canada Day and I know that I haven’t written much of anything for the longest time. So much is happening to me right now that I can’t really get into it. All I can say is that whatever I wrote as the prophecy for 2019 is happening to me for sure. So many things are happening that I can’t believe the goodness of God in my life. At the same time, with every good thing there is also warfare but the Lord allows certain things in order to sharpen your discernment for one and to also prepare a way for you to move forward into your next moment of promotion, elevation, and the next level of your life. When the Lord plants you somewhere, it won’t always be comfortable where you are.

Sometimes, you will encounter those that are antagonistic towards you for no “good reason”. I’ve been encountering something like that in my work place with someone in particular, but it’s only because I mentioned I was a “Christian” to them. I know that they already knew I was a Christian without me verbally telling them this…but when I finally said it with my own mouth it was like the word hit them and caused them to be offended once I declared where I stood verbally. The person I was talking to is affiliated with the LGBTQ2+ community and even though I expressed that I respect their decision as to where they stood, it wouldn’t necessarily change where I stood as a “Christian”. I was of the opinion that “Can’t we simply agree to disagree and move on?” but they seemed highly offended with my stance on the issue and didn’t like the fact that I wouldn’t simply go with the flow with their philosophy of life and started to act somewhat haughty and ridiculous towards me that they started to avoid me as well.

Proverbs 16:18 – Pride goes before destructionAnd a haughty spirit before a fall.

The Lord showed me that the person in question lacked self-awareness of their own biases and that the spirit of PRIDE, can cause someone to retaliate in ways you cannot even begin to believe. And as a Christian, we must understand that the ruling spirit of the LGBTQ2+ community is the spirit of Pride. I mean why do you think they call this month of June “Pride Month”. Despite this person’s behavior, the Lord has shown me that as Christians, we must not be reactionary to this behaviour, but rather, we must continue to operate and respond with the Spirit of God’s Love towards these people. It doesn’t matter if they don’t see things your way, continue to love Mercy, act Justly and walk humbly no matter what. And this message isn’t isolated to just this group of people, I’m talking about whoever else you encounter in life. They could be from a different religion, creed, nation etc etc… the message still remains the same; Walk Humbly, Love Mercy and Act Justly no matter what.

Micah 6:8 – He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Sometimes the best ways of reaching a person’s heart is through our actions more so than our words. We are known to be Christians by our love so my message to you is be a good representation of God’s love for all people in all that you do, Amen!

I have a song here by Red Rocks Worship called Breakthrough. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

You Shine!

Hi Peeps!

I just had to post this song by Christ Tofilon called You Shine. This song sounds amazing in Spanish. In fact, I think it sounds better in Spanish. that I’ll put the Spanish one at the bottom so that you can hear the difference. I love how this song emphasizes how the Lord Shines. The Lord is the Light of the World and a lamp unto our feet. He is the One that directs our paths and makes our ways straight. Think of these following scriptures as you listen to this song.

Numbers 6:25 – The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;

Psalm 119:135 – Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes.

Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Here is the Spanish version called Mas Que el Sol. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today! God Bless You Everyone! 🙂

When I Call Your Name!

Hi Peeps!

I have this amazing song by Todd Dulaney feat. Nicole Harris called Your Great Name. This version of the song is so amazing on surround sound that I play it quite loud when I’m driving in my car. It just pumps you up and encourages you to remember the Name of the Lord. How many of you know that there is Power when we call on the Name of Jesus? I know that personally, in my prayer life, when I’m stuck or in a bind or feeling confused about something, calling on the name of Jesus has had great power in my life that it just breaks the confusion in my life and the Lord brings me answers in very unexpected ways. This has been happening to me lately, and I can say that I’m seeing it daily because I’ve learned to cultivate that relationship of trusting in Him through prayer and meditating on His Word (The Bible) and simply moving by Faith. There is great power in the Name of Jesus, and this song really captures that and emphasizes this. I pray that as you listen to this song, may it encourage you in whatever it is that you are going through. Don’t be moved by fear, be moved by Faith Amen! Remember to call on the Name of the Lord and you will be saved. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

1 Kings 18:24 – Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.” So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.”

Isaiah 54:5 – For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

Acts 2:21 – And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’

Romans 10:13 – For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

You’re Bigger than I Thought

Hi Peeps!

I have a song here sung by Passion feat. Sean Curran called Bigger Than I Thought. I feel like this is a great song that is appropriate for me to post today. Lately, I’ve been learning a lot about people for the past few weeks. I’ve also been learning what it means to have spiritual discernment, and knowing when you have your limits. I’ve learned that the Lord is showing me that when I pray, I must be strategic in what I ask for.

If the discernment level of yesterday is not sufficient for tomorrows problems, that is when you need to pray to God more to increase in the areas that you find yourself deficient. I’ve noticed that I cannot settle with my current condition, and must always have the heart of a student and keep learning more from others; but mostly, I must keep learning more about myself. I’ve learned that the best way to discern someone else, is by first learning to first discern yourself. If you cannot see the areas in your own life that require improvement, how can you show someone else how to do the same if you lack the clarity to see the areas within yourself that need Jesus?

I have learned that you can learn from people that are different from yourself. They don’t have to be a Christian to add value to your life. God has intrinsically put greatness in every person regardless of whether they believe in Him (God) or not, so as Christians, we cannot afford to be presumptuous, haughty and filled with pride to not be able to see that you can learn from people that are different from yourself.

Psalm 139:14 [Full Chapter]
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Such people may have a different values from yourself, but just remember that God created them too. Also, our job as Christians isn’t to condemn the world, but it is to be the example of God’s love to a world that needs to see and know that God loves them as they are and wants to draw them to become who they were meant to be, “A Child of God”. Nobody is perfect, and before we point at the speck in our brother and sister’s eye…make sure you don’t have a plank in your own.

Matthew 7:3 – And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

Matthew 7:4 – Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

Luke 6:41 – And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye?

Luke 6:42 – Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

It’s so important to operate with the Spirit of God’s love in whatever we do. I know that I’m not perfect at it, but that is what I strive for. And if you truly want someone to hear you and listen to you….you too have to learn to listen and hear from them too rather than simply voicing your position and your opinion. Sometimes people don’t care how much you know…they just want to know that you care. Jesus always learned to listen and hear others in the Bible before answering. Many came to accuse and test him based on his knowledge of the Torah, but Jesus always had the final word.

Sometimes, it’s not always about being right all the time, it’s about having the empathy and patience to listen rather than seeking to be heard. So in all that you do in life, always seek to do better if you know better. Try to build a patient and peaceful way to address issues rather than simply trying to voice and force your opinion onto others. I feel that for the past few weeks, I’ve learned that the discernment of yesterday is simply not enough for tomorrows problems, so strategically pray to God to help you increase in any area of your life that you find yourself deficient. He is the One that is able to supply all your needs according to his riches and Glory in Heaven.

Philippians 4:19And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

We just need to remember to ask for it. We have not if we ask not.

James 4:2 You lust and do not haveYou murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

People can go about getting the things they want the wrong way simply because they did not ask God to help them get the things they desire in legitimate ways. Why do you think people do corrupt things to get what they want? It’s because they simply don’t Trust God nor do they Believe in Him.

The Bible tells us this:

John 16:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

So my prayer for everyone reading this is that you must remember to include God in every plan of your life. When you are struggling, seek God through prayer to point you to the people that will guide you in the right direction. Sometimes the people God chooses to impact your life will be those that don’t believe in Him. And God is purposeful when He aligns you to people that are unbelievers… It is so that you can be the light that they have failed to see in their own world. In order to impact someones life you have to be engaged and interested in their life. Change can’t happen until you do something different. Don’t get comfortable… because comfort breeds laziness…and with laziness, breeds contempt.

Don’t be the kind of Christian that is lazy in their walk… be active and purposeful in the things that you do. People want God to use them in amazing ways…but when the time calls for it, are you up to the task? Be real with yourself. Sometimes, the things God asks us to do will force us out of our comfort zone…so we must be ready for that as well. God wants to touch lives by pushing us out there to impact those that wouldn’t have heard the message nor experienced an example of God love. Remember, people don’t care about how much you know… they care about how much you care. Demonstrate that each day, and I believe something will move in a struggling heart that wants to believe but has reasons to deny in God’s existence in their lives.

I pray that as you listen to this song, may it bless your heart and bless your spirit today. God bless you everybody! 🙂

Symphony of Peace

Hi Peeps!

I have this awesome song by Switch feat. Dillon Chase called Symphony. This song is just amazing on surround sound. I’ve been thinking that sometimes we can get bombarded by a lot of distractions, that make us feel like we’re passing through some kind of whirlwind called “Chaos” and “Confusion”. Whenever you feel this whirlwind that causes you to cloud your judgement when making an important “life decision”, learn to still your heart and pray to God for peace and clarity regarding a situation rather than simply opting for a rash decision. I know that through this week, I was bombarded by a lot of information and it was causing me to feel rash and emotional and uneasy because I was being moved by people’s opinions and ‘so-called’ advice when really, I had to sit myself down, shut the noise and simply pray and ask God “What does God say?” about a situation.

It’s easy to be moved by peoples judgments and opinions, but it is better to still your heart for a moment and pray to seek the Holy Spirit to give you clarity over a situation in order to make a sound judgement call. Do not be swayed too-and-fro by the mere opinions of others without taking the time to assess a situation in a quiet place away from distractions that cause you to feel confused and indecisive. That was how my week was like last week, but this Friday, I decided to shut out the noise of people’s opinions and sought to pray to the Holy Spirit about a situation I’m facing right now and was able to arrive at a sound decision.

I like this song because it’s about drowning out the noise in your life that causes you to feel chaos and confusion. You don’t need strife in your life when you can fill your soul with peace by relying on the voice of the Holy Spirit that is able to guide you to make a well informed and sound decision on any situation that calls for you to make a decision. Don’t be swayed too-and-fro from so many opinions of others without properly assessing:

  • What it is that you need right now?
  • What is it that you can do without? and
  • Will whatever decision you make impact you in a positive or negative way?

That is something I had to assess in order to become decisive. An opportunity to be promoted has come before me and I’ve decided to take it. When God opens a door, you may not know what’s on the other side and it may cause you to feel scared to walk through it, but understand that opportunities don’t always come often when a door opens for you to prosper. Yes, you may face challenges, but God’s will for your life will remain the same and that is:

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

I pray that as you listen to this song today that you remember to drown out the negative feedback and noise that people come to distract your focus on the goal that God has for your life. You will succeed in all that you put your hand to do when you have God on your side, so be encouraged and remember to keep you eyes fixed on Jesus. God Bless You everybody! 🙂

I Can Testify!!!!!

Hi Peeps!

I know, it’s been a long long long long time since my last post. Trust me I know. So many things are happening to me in transitions this year that when I look at the Word I had for this year… I can truly say that all the things I mentioned about 2019 in my New Year’s post as being the Year of God’s Perfect Order, I can surly testify that things have been moving at that pace. I remember my Twin sister and I telling my parents we were thinking of buying a house in December 2018 they were pretty skeptical about us being able to do that because of how unfavorable the housing market was at that time, but my sister and I felt in our Spirit that this was the right time even though the timing defied human convention and common sense. We decided to simply move by faith and by the end of January, Sharon and I had a house. We were thinking of getting a new car, and by the end of April, we had a new car. So many things we were putting into prayer were simply coming to pass that during the beginning of the New Year the Lord impressed in my spirit this one Word that He spoke to me and said, “Ask of Me and it shall be given…keep asking by Faith, and you will receive by Faith”.

So ever since I’ve heard this, I’ve been moving by faith even when it doesn’t make sense. Lots of things are shifting in my life that I feel the Lord’s favor. At the same time though, I also feel the warfare over my soul and have been reminded to remain vigilant. The friends you started with in the year may not be your friends tomorrow, and the enemies of yesterday maybe your present help for tomorrow. God is stressing that He will do the unconventional and will cause us to move at times when we least expect it.

Psalm 103:17-18 NIV But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children— with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.

If we just learn to hear and harken to His voice, He will lead us to still waters, He will direct our paths and make it straight for us if we learn to Humble ourselves, refuse to be hard-headed thinking we know it all when we really need the divine help of the Holy Spirit, and that we respect our mentors and teachers around us. I’ve been learning throughout these past few months that I want to increase in my discernment level regarding people. The discernment of yesterday is not sufficient for tomorrows troubles, so I’ve made it a goal and point to grow in this area of my life and focus on the goal ahead, forgetting the things that are behind me, I press on toward the upward call of Jesus Christ for my life. Let that be my testimony.

This song reminds me that our testimonies are derived from tests. We can choose to avoid the trials…but how else can we grow without the test. So I’ve decided to move away from the realm of fear and focus on the goal and have chosen to be brave and move forward regardless of the naysayers, the discouragers and the people that want to see you fail in life. Focus on God and He will make a way out of no way for you to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. This whole thing, is about meeting people you have to impact on your road to progress and advancement. People need to encounter the Christ inside of you in order for you to be an impact in their lives. I’m learning the areas that I find myself feeling a bit immature…but God is placing strategic people around me to mature in this area of my life. I pray that you seek that for yourself too. May this song by the Social Club Misfits feat. Crowder called Testify bless your spirit today people. God Bless You! 🙂
