We tend to idolize famous people because we wish we could be like them, but not many people want to experience the pain, the hard work, the sacrifices they’ve had to make and the perseverance they’ve had to endure to obtain the things that they currently have. Things didn’t simply fall into their laps. They all experienced hurdles that they needed to jump over in order to achieve their current success. We need to develop that mindset as Christians and not be complacent expecting for things to simply fall into our laps without working for it. Key word here is WORK. Even the Bible doesn’t condone laziness, so let’s aim to work hard for the dreams we have buried inside of us and pursue these dreams with diligence as we aim for success.

Here are some funny scripture passages concerning The Lazy Man

Proverbs 10:4 [Full Chapter]

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.

The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

The lazy man will not plow because of winter; He will beg during harvest and have nothing.

Proverbs 21:25

Can’t… get… that… cell… phone…ugh…!

The desire of the lazy man kills him, For his hands refuse to labor.

I went by the field of the lazy man, And by the vineyard of the man devoid of understanding;

As a door turns on its hinges, So does the lazy man on his bed.

The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; It wearies him to bring it back to his mouth.

The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly.

At the end of the day, we need to be a people that epitomizes this verse of scripture:

Proverbs 12:24 [Full Chapter]

The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.

So my encouragement to you today is to make it a point to be diligent in all that God has put our hands to do and to do things well. We may face setbacks, hindrances, discouragement and the like on our journey towards success, but we will be a people that keeps on pressing forward towards the goal that never looks back at what wasn’t meant to be, Amen! I pray that this video blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Philippians 3:14 [Full Chapter]

I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Build a Legacy without Excuses

Hello People!

I wanted to post this inspirational video today regarding Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most amazing composers in the early 30s who was unable to hear his own Harmonies because he was deaf.

Sometimes, as people, we can view our infirmities as the number one reason why we are unable to achieve the dreams that God has placed in our hearts to achieve. Some people can view an infirmity as a weakness that prevents them from moving forward, because they simply can’t see how God views them. God sees you always at your full potential whether you realize this or not. He knows exactly what you are capable of being able to do, it’s just that we need to remember that we are all created in His image and likeness and therefore, if that is the case, then there is nothing we can’t do if we just BELIEVE.

Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’”

Image result for encouragement memeIn your weakness, God gives you strength. It’s all in how you look at things. Nothing in this world is strong enough to prevent you from achieving greatness except your own mindset. If you have a negative mindset… then that is simply enough for you to halt your own progress. This entire year, since December 2016, I’ve been battling to regain my memories because of a sickness that attacked my mind (Encephalitis – causes short-term memory loss). I could have been filled with self-pity and a “woe-is-me” attitude if I had wanted too, and yes there were times I wanted to throw in the towel, but God kept pushing me to fight to regain my memories; and though the battle has been long, God has shown Himself faithful in my life. Little by little, everything is returning to me as it should and I am getting stronger and stronger each day. The sickness I had to endure could not stop me from pursuing purpose, and even now, I am amazed at how far I’ve come along.

People may ridicule you, make fun of you, undermine you, discourage you and point out your weaknesses to make you feel inferior, but you have to remember WHO your are in Christ. You serve a SUPERIOR God, and He created you with a SUPERIOR mind. Do not let the naysayers of your life define who you are when the Word of God (The Bible) tells you:

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Your soul should know this very well, so remember that. The limits you have in your life are the limits you are willing to accept in your life. If you are unwilling to accept such limits that people place on you based on their personal judgments, or the limits you place on yourself by your very own confession, then you will operate in a realm where you will be able to become a barrier breaker with barrier-breaking faith. Remember this verse of scripture when you encounter a road-block or some form of discouragement from your peers:

Ephesians 3:20-21 [Full Chapter]

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

You don’t have to accept defeat when God is telling you that you can overcome. Resist the negative and embrace the Truth of God’s Word that tells you that nothing is impossible for you who believes. 😀

Image result for encouragement memeLuke 1:37 [Full Chapter] – For with God nothing will be impossible.”

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Related imageI was intrigued when I viewed this video regarding Beethoven. He didn’t allow the fact that he was deaf to stop him from creating musical symphonies. How a deaf person can create music that they cannot hear with their own ears is beyond me; however, it still remains fascinating. My favourite one from Beethoven happens to be Symphony No. 7, Allegretto. The symphony played in the video I’ve posted below is called Moonlight Sonata. It’s also one of my favourites from Beethoven and it kinda has a sad feel to it but strangely sounds beautiful at the same time. I hope that this video blesses your spirit today. God bless You Everybody and be encouraged! 😀

Hello Peeps!

I have this short inspirational video by Goalcast called Steve Jobs Describes His Road to Success and the Lessons He Learned.

Steve Jobs passed away in October 5, 2011 due to complications from a relapse of his previously treated islet-cell neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer,[44][159][160] which resulted in respiratory arrest.[161] He had lost consciousness the day before and died with his wife, children, and sisters at his side.[90] (Info Source:

He did face setbacks just like everyone else does when endeavoring to do something that hasn’t been done before; but that didn’t stop him from moving forward. Do not be discouraged. No matter where you are in life, don’t focus on the things that try to block you from achieving your dreams. Focus on the Goal and you’ll reach it. It may take time; however, if you keep your eyes fixed on the prize, you will achieve the very thing you hoped for and with great result.

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Your Life’s Blueprint – Dream Big!

Hello Peeps! have two inspirational videos to encourage you today. The first video is a voice over of Howard Schultz (CEO of Starbucks) talking about Dreaming Big and learning to ignore the naysayers in your life. No matter what endeavor you may have placed in your heart to pursue, always focus on the goal and do not look at that which is behind you. Do not tune your ears to the wrong frequency of the naysayers of your life. Always fix your eyes on Jesus, always press forward towards the goal you have in your life and learn to ignore the voices of unbelief that try to discourage you from pursuing purpose. Align yourself with people that share the same vision that you have for your life and discard those that cannot work together with you in agreement with the same goal in mind. Sift through your friends, your current associations, your partnerships, including your family members (you didn’t see that one coming now did ya! lol 😀 )  that do not share the same vision for your life. This is a very important thing for you to do if you seek to be successful in your life.

You cannot allow yourself to be yoked with unbelief in any fashion or form. The true power of unbelief is so strong that it is enough to:

  1. Image result for jesus loves you facebook bannerHalt your destiny rather than take you to it;
  2. It is strong enough to keep you captive to fear rather than moving with courage;
  3. It limits your true potential rather than igniting it;
  4. It hinders true progress in your life by placing barriers and limits to discourage you from moving forward;
  5. It steers you away from people that could potentially be your destiny helpers by isolating you from others with a negative thought pattern and processing of information;
  6. It keeps you in a cycle of insanity (doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result) rather than moving with rationale;
  7. It causes you to define yourself by your failures rather than overcome them (John 16:33);
  8. It traps you in a realm of vain imagination rather than focusing on the goals that you have for your life (2 Corinthians 10:5);
  9. It kills your spirit rather than builds it;
  10. It causes you to be deactivated rather than pro-activated;
  11. It de-motivates you into a place running on complacency, rather than causing you to be motivated into running to a place of action;
  12. It keeps you away from your God-given promise(s) and causes you to wonder about a desert in a circle for 40 years, always in want, since you will always be in lack and never arriving at your final destination (think of Moses and the children of Israel that were supposed to enter the promised land) (Numbers 32:13);
  13. It continues to keep you being disobedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit rather than being obedient and heeding to the voice of the Holy Spirit by obeying instruction to obtain the promises of God for your life (Deuteronomy 11:13; Deuteronomy 11:27Deuteronomy 12:28Deuteronomy 15:5Luke 17:6);
  14. It keeps you being a skeptic rather than being a believer (Hebrews 11:1);
  15. It keeps you circling in the realm of doubt rather than pressing forward in faith;
  16. It keeps you in the realm of defeat rather than realizing you are an overcomer through Christ Jesus (John 16:33);
  17. It causes you to focus solely on your weaknesses rather than on your God-given abilities or your potential to succeed (Ephesians 6:10);
  18. It leads you to a place of depression rather than a place of optimism;
  19. It feeds your flesh and starves your spirit (John 14:26 );
  20. It leads you to focus on works only rather than “faith with works” (James 2:14-20);
  21. It causes you to miss the mark (sin) rather than remaining in right-standing with God;
  22. It puffs up your pride and ego thinking you can do it alone when humility causes you to acknowledge that you really do need God to help you move forward (James 4:10);
  23. It disables you rather than enables you;
  24. It distracts you rather than refocuses you;
  25. It destabilizes you rather than stabilizing you;
  26. It conforms you to the patterns of this world rather than it transforming you by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2);Image result for unbelief
  27. It destroys you rather than heals you;
  28. It causes you to fear rather than to run on the fuel of faith (2 Timothy 1:7);
  29. It weakens you rather than strengthens you;
  30. It tells you to rely on yourself rather than believing and trusting God for your breakthroughs;
  31. It causes you to focus on you solely through (self-sufficiency) rather than focusing on and depending on what God can do for you;
  32. It steers you in the wrong direction whereas God can direct your path if you heed to His instruction (Proverbs 3:5-6);
  33. It causes you to meditate on relying on vain imaginations rather than yielding to the power of God that can satisfy the desires of your heart (2 Corinthians 10:5; Psalm 145:16);
  34. It causes you to feel rather crazy (filled with fear) rather than being a person operating with a sound mind filled with courage (Psalm 31:242 Timothy 1:7; Ephesians 6:10);
  35. It kills your spirit rather than healing, feeding and rebuilding it;
  36. It causes you to feel weak even though God says you are strong (Joel 3:10);
  37. It leads you to poverty rather than to pursue health and prosperity;
  38. It causes you to wonder from the faith piercing yourself with many sorrows (1 Timothy 5:15; 1 Timothy 6:10);Image result for unbelief
  39. It causes you to sink in fear relying on what you can tangibly see rather than walking by faith;
  40. It causes you to focus on your limitations rather than your God-given potentials and possibilities (Matthew 19:26Mark 9:23Mark 10:27Mark 14:36);
  41. It causes you to be blinded to the truth (believing in lies) rather than seeing clearly through Revelation (Deuteronomy 29:29);
  42. It causes you to magnify your problems rather than exploring solutions;
  43. It causes you to believe you can be self-sufficient without God when it is God that can satisfy the desires of your heart (Psalm 145:16);
  44. It causes you to focus on vain imaginations rather than the revealed Word of God through revelation (2 Corinthians 10:5);
  45. It causes you to hinder your spiritual growth by causing you to focus on satisfying your fleshy needs rather than grooming your spirit to become more sensitive to the heart of God;
  46. It causes you to seek the World first rather than seeking first the Kingdom of God through Salvation, and all the things that you have need of will be added onto you if you just simply believe in Jesus Christ as Your Lord and Saviour (Matthew 6:33); and the list goes on and on…

UNBELIEF is so powerful, that many great women and men of God fall because of it. That is why we must hold fast to our faith and remember what the Word of God says in the following scriptures:

Be Loyal to the Faith ] Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?

Related imageIf two can’t walk together accept they be agreed, then get rid of the people in your life that strive against you and always seem to promote strife through various disagreements that you may have with them. You haven’t got the time to waste with people that work hard to be against you. Rather, seek to align yourself with like-minded individuals that are genuinely for you and want to see you succeed. Such people will not flatter you with sweet nothings in your ear all day long and will tend to be brutally honest with you when giving you sound advice. They are the types of people that boost your moral character rather than furthering to boost your ego. Such people know the meaning of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance and determination. Align yourself with such people and you will surely succeed in this life.

Philippians 3:12-14(NKJV)

Pressing Toward the Goal

12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

The last inspirational video is a short inspiring speech by Martin Luther King regarding our life’s blueprint. The Bible scripture that comes to mind when listening to this speech is this:

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The legacy that you want to leave behind will be determined by the philosophy of life that you lead. Like I always say: What you believe in, is what you’ll ultimately become”, so reflect on what it is that you want to become today and remember that whatever you place your faith in, will ultimately become your reality.

Proverbs 23:7 [Full Chapter]

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

Useless or Useful – Which One Are You?

Hello Peeps!

I wanted to post one more video today to get y’all thinking. I know that many people know the story about The Talents written in Matthew 25:14-30 . I feel that we all have the potential to increase whatever God-given gifts we are given to advance the cause and message of Christ whether it be in business administration, skilled trades, the arts, hospitality, agriculture, health and sciences etc etc. God has placed as here to be a gift that keeps on increasing. I think the worst thing in the world is recognizing “our potential” but not being able to fulfill it or use it in this limited life-time.

The Talent Story Matthew 25:14-30

I believe that every person is born gifted in some way. We all have talents varying in degree and measure, and therefore, we all have the ability to increase the measure that is given to us to use if we apply ourselves and work with what we’ve got. Don’t be looking at your neighbor’s talents jealously when you’ve got talents of your own to deal with. Use what God has given you and regard what you have with respect and value. If we fail to use what God has given us and simply bury our hidden potential, then we become useless and will eventually watch others overtake us and use what we could have done for ourselves at the maximum level. Do not become a useless person and work with what God has given you to do. Respect your gift and don’t bury it. Activate it and maximize on it and you’ll see your talents increase when you work it.

Don’t bury your talents into the ground. What use is it in there?

I believe that God wants to use us in mind-blowing ways, but if we simply bury our potentials into the ground, then someone else will scavenge for that hidden and buried talent and use it or exploit it for themselves because they know the true value of that hidden talent. Use what God has given you to use to advance His cause, which is the message of Christ. Do what you know how to do and do it well. Don’t be a person reserving their talent for a “better time”. What if that time you specify never comes? What if that time is actually NOW

We must not be presumptuous and simply assume that we have “all the time in the world” when tomorrow is not promised and neither is it guaranteed. So everyone must learn to be deliberate and spirit-led to use your talents to advance the cause of Christ in whatever we do. Focus on this today and seek God to help you increase the value of what you have, and to increase what you have been willing to use to advance the message of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to the Nations. Don’t bury what God has called you to multiply. Think about this today with much fear and trembling, Amen! I pray that this video I have posted blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Hello Peeps!

I just wanted to post this very interesting video that will make you think twice when judging someone who is doing something irritating to you. When you point the finger, make sure that it doesn’t end up pointing right back at you. Acts of kindness are rare and when it actually happens, you’ll see the level of grace that is applied in your life when you see people demonstrate a level of patience and mercy and grace towards you through their acts of kindness to you, even when you may not be deserving of it. Always treat people in the way that you would like to be treated and never judge too quickly a situation until you’ve analyzed all the details of why things are happening the way in which they are. Have an attitude of gratitude and be thankful for the kindness God demonstrates through people you encounter in your life each day. I pray that this video blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Today, I want to post this encouraging song sung by Mosaic MSC called May God Be Everywhere I Go. I think that should be our prayer daily. I certainly hope that God is everywhere I go. People may forsake you, but God never will. Always remember to put your trust in the right place. Always put your trust in God since He is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

Understanding Seasons of Movement

Hello Peeps!

Today’s post is in reflection to this passage of scripture from:

Promises to Abram ] Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.

happinessSometimes, depending on your walk with the Lord, there will be times when you will feel led by the Holy Spirit to move from where you currently are to where God wants you to be. I know from personal experience that the Lord gives me signs when I’m supposed to leave some place and move to another whether it be a job, or church, or place to live. Sometimes, God doesn’t call us to move to certain places but He may draw you to simply shift position from your current location whether it’s in your job situation, it could be a lateral move, or a departmental change, or a management shift, etc etc. The thing is, as Christians, we need to develop that level of spiritual sensitivity to know when God is calling us to move from where we are, to where He wants us to be. Most times, He provides visual signs that become indicative of you to pursue a specific course of actions and in some cases, the move may not even make any sense to you, but if you obey His voice and just do what the Lord leads you to do, you will see amazing things happen in your life. This is where you have to move by FAITH and not by what other people say you can or cannot do. Do what the Lord leads you to do when you feel convicted in your spirit to do something regardless of the ridicule that you may face from others that don’t see the road you are walking on.

Let me give you an example: I have a friend of mine that works for a Fortune 500 company that I used to work for and currently there has been a dramatic shift in leadership and management in her department. The manager she was once under before the shift was a great person; however, she was promoted to a new position leaving my friend to be currently under a terrible manager that seemed to be pulling games against my friend along with a new Senior Clerk, trying to target my friend to get her fired. My friend confided in me and told me what was happening in the workplace and I advised her that she should start looking elsewhere to work. My friend didn’t have to take my advice, but she did and managed to obtain an interview at a well known prestigious firm that valued and prized her experience. I became her reference and she was blessed enough to get the new role! Praise GOD! 😀

Related imageUnbeknown-st to my friend, the new manager and the new Senior law clerk had been conniving together to try to get my friend fired, but before this clerk could pull any tricks up her sleeves, my friend gave in her 2-week notice. Booyahhh! LOL! 😛 That Senior Law Clerk and Manager that had tried to sabotage my friend were dumbfounded because they hadn’t considered that my friend had taken my advice seriously and acted on it pro-actively by pursuing a wise course of action on her own to remove herself from this tyrannical management based on my advice to secure her life in a different job with her level of experience. The same conniving Law clerk could no longer take credit for my friends work and now realized that she was in deep trouble because she didn’t know how to handle the files that were my friend’s previous responsibilities.

Sometimes, people in your life will be jealous of you and will try and attempt to take credit for work that they didn’t do and will do malicious things to sabotage you, your career, your relationships and your life. They will do things to boost their ego and will laugh at your struggles as they gang up against you with like-minded individuals that hate you. Your job isn’t to be reactionary about what is happening to you. Your job is not to respond to the provocations of those that hate you. Your job as a “Christian” is to petition to the Lord through prayer to give you guidance as to what you should do now, knowing that you have enemies ganging up against you.

David stressing over his son Absalom

David in the Bible always sought the Lord through prayer when he faced battles against his son Absalom who was after his very own soul (read 2 Samuel 152 Samuel 16 2 Samuel 17).

Prayer to God is how we should respond to the provocations of our enemies. We should learn to pray rather than simply react to what’s happening against us. When we receive the answer, we must respond with wisdom rather than with haste when trying to sort out a problem. This requires us to operate in the realm of Wisdom with Self-Control. When you have Self-Control, you will be able to handle whatever attacks that come your way with wisdom since you have a “Sound Mind”.

2 Timothy 1:7 [Full Chapter] NKJV

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

The NIV version says:

2 Timothy 1:7 [Full Chapter]

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Image result for plan BYou need to discipline yourself in order to respond with wisdom rather than with wrath over a situation that maybe beyond your control or comprehension.

My friend isn’t a Christian, but she heeded to my advice because I could discern what was actually happening in her situation and gave her direction as to what she should do to overcome this situation as I was led by the Holy Spirit to advise her to have a “Plan B” to her current circumstance. She heeded and trusted in my advice and followed through and obtained a positive result/outcome that led her to a new position at a new job that valued her experience. We celebrated her new job not too long ago and I give God praise for what He has done to help my friend. Even though she isn’t a Christian, the fact is, when you act in faith by heeding to the advice of “Godly counsel” regardless of your spiritual beliefs, you will obtain favour from the Lord. God is faithful to those who are faithful.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer always changes things!

My friend even asked me to pray for her to get the job, even though she is a non-believer, to which I did, and she somehow believes that my faith in my God helped her to get to where she is now. Hopefully, one day she’ll accept Christ as her Saviour. I will continue to pray for her. The Holy Spirit always gives me direction, wisdom, a word of knowledge and the answers I need when I’m stuck in a situation, or if someone I know is in a situation that requires divine wisdom to curtail the assignment against their lives.

To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

Our Job, is to trust God and to lean not on our own understanding when we face a battle that is beyond our level of comprehension. When we Trust God, He is the One that is able to direct our path in the way that we should go. Learn to seek God through prayer and fasting (if needed) when you are facing something beyond your own limited level of understanding. When you seek God in prayer (and/or through fasting), He will direct your path in the right direction, Amen!

Your Life is Important – Exalt God!

Hello People!

I know that some people are probably out right about now “trick-or-treating” tonight since it is October 31st – Halloween. I still perceive this day to be a day where I feel like death is being glorified and celebrated by parents and children dressing up in masquerading costumes demanding treats door-to-door all in the name of “fun”. However, I for one, don’t care for Halloween at all as I previously stated in a previous blog post, so instead, I want to glorify God tonight with 2 songs by Hillsong United where the first song is called Life and the second song is called So Will I. We should focus on magnifying God tonight if you ask me. The Bible clearly states to us in the following scripture:

1 Corinthians 15:54-56(NKJV)

54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”[a]

55 “O Death, where is your sting?[b]
O Hades, where is your victory?”[c]

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

3. The Way, Truth, and the Life – (John 14:6)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
