Remember What It's About

Hi Peeps!

I know, I know… it’s been a minute since I last posted anything. Today I want to post this song by Uncle Reece called I Can’t Escape. I love this song right about now. As we are now in the month of December, and people are getting ready for Christmas festivities, let us not forget what Christmas is really about. People can call it “Happy Holidays” all they want, but it really just goes back to the fact that it’s about our Saviour, Jesus Christ being born.

Of course Dec 25th isn’t His actual birthday, but having a day to Celebrate the fact that God came down as a man to move us, reach us, and teach us about our Father’s eternal love for us in a tangible way is what makes this day worth celebrating about. We were all once dead in our Sins, faults, and failures, but God sent down His Only Begotten Son Jesus to come down from His throne as the King of kings and became a man that would teach us about the Father’s eternal love for us and redeem us from the curse of the law and the curse of sin through the redemptive power of Jesus’ blood that was shed for us on the cross to pay for the penalty of sin, which would have been eternal damnation.

Galatians 3:13 – Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

John 3:16For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

But now that we are redeemed from the curse of the Law , we now enjoy having a renewed and restored relationship with God the Father when we simply decide to accept that Jesus Christ is Lord over our lives and believe that He died for us on the Cross and three days later, resurrected for us in fulfillment of the scriptures.

1 John 4:9 – In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Christmas is a celebration that Jesus came to do what no other man could do, and that is restore our relationship back to God the Father through His Sacrifice. A sinless man…dying for us to in order to win over the power of death and giving us new life through the power of His blood. Death no longer has a victory over us, it has lost it’s sting. We must give God praise for that. So as you listen to this song, remember where you could have been without God and look at where you are now, now that you know God is real and that He loves you with an everlasting love. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

The Breaker is Our Maker

Hello Peeps!

I just had to post this song by Travis Greene called The Breaker. This song is ringing strongly in my spirit as I think of how sovereign our God is. Sometimes as children we can be petulant and self-entitled for things and simply assume that we deserve everything when God already gave us His best, which was His only Begotten Son Jesus, who came down from Heaven and became a man that dwelt among us, taught us about the love of God, was bruised and shamed for our transgressions, was nailed on a cross for our sake and still loved us as He died on that cross.

Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Micah 2:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)

13 “The [a]breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them].
They will break out, pass through the gate and go out;
So their King goes on before them,
The Lord at their head.”

What a miracle it was that Jesus, Our Savior, resurrected for us to show us that death has no victory over our lives. But think of this…the victory Jesus gave us, wasn’t just about death itself, it was His victory over all SIN. Jesus defeated the power of SIN in our lives that causes us to die spiritually and leave us separated from the Love of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

When I listen to this song, I think of the greatness of God, and how He takes our mistakes, or failures, our shortcomings and tells us that even in or Brokenness, He has the power to use it and make us brand new by redeeming us from the brokenness that shame brings us. God can break the shame and restore us to be in right standing again in Him. So this message is for everyone… because all have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God, but we can take heart, because He has overcome the World of sin for us all.

Romans 3:23 [Full Chapter]
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

We can stand tall and Know that Jesus Christ is God and that He loves us with an everlasting love. We need to embrace the Redeemer, because it is by His Stripes that we are healed and made whole again.

Jeremiah 31:3 [Full Chapter]
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

Isaiah 54:5 – For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.

Job 19:25 – For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth;

Psalm 19:14 – Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

So when you listen to this song, just remember that no one is perfect but through Christ, we become perfected in Jesus Name, Amen! I pray that this song ministers to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

You Are Wanted

Hi Peeps!

I just had to post this amazing song by Danny Gokey called Wanted. I feel like we live in a world where there are many people struggling with an identity crisis and a lack of self-respect when they pursue people or things to make them feel “whole”. The truth is, is that everyone of us has that longing inside of us to feel “wanted”, to feel “Loved”, to feel “needed” and “cherished”. But when we can’t find that feeling with those we have around us or for those that aren’t with us, we start to find things to fill the void.

All I can say is that there is nothing in this world that can totally satisfy and fill the void a person feels without finding out who they really are. In order to find out who you really are, you need to find out who you really belong to, and the answer is quite simple. You belong to the family of Jesus Christ. You are part of God’s family because He crafted you and made you to be fearfully and wonderfully made.

Psalm 139:14 [Full Chapter]
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

People need to know the heart of God the Father in order to understand that You are a wanted person. He created you to be loved and I feel like when you listen to this song, you’ll understand that Danny captures God’s expression of love towards us, His Children. I pray that as you listen to it, may it minister to your spirit today. May God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

God Will Heal Again!

Hi Peeps!

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. It’s been a busy month for me with so many changes occurring that I’ve need to think about the time I need to write something substantive when I choose to blog. Today, I want to post this song by Evan and Eris called People. I feel like this past week has been a whirlwind of dealing with different kinds of people. Some people are great and some not so great. Some are for you in your life and some are just not out for your best interest. Some people inspire you and give you hope and some are just toxic and pretentious that they end up disappointing you. Despite that being the case, we must remember that we have to let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:3-5).

Psalm 51:12NIV – Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

In this World we will have trouble, but we have to take heart and remember that God has helped us to overcome the world. Meditate on these scriptures in reflection of that:

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have over come the world.”

1 John 4:4 – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1 John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomethe world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

We must be like little Children to God so that we can understand the heart of the Father.

The thing is, just because you are a “Christian” doesn’t mean that you will be devoid of trouble. However, having said that, that doesn’t mean that you can’t overcome the issues of life that you may face when you remember that God is still the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus Christ is the same yesterdaytoday, and forever

As you listen to this song just remember that no matter what it is that your going through, let God heal your mind, your heart, your emotions if you are facing some kind of adversity in your life right now. Call on the Name of Jesus! Jesus is able to hear our cries and our prayers so don’t put your faith in the wrong place and rely on people who are fallible beings. Rely on a perfect God who is able to turn what was meant for evil in your life and will turn it around for the good of those that love the Lord (Genesis 50:20), Amen! I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody!

God Heal Again!

Insatiable Love

Hi Peeps!

Just wanted to drop this awesome song by Kim-Walker Smith called Insatiable. When you experience the love of God in your life, you’ll find yourself wanting more and more of it each and everyday. But how does His love get expressed in our lives? Through His people. We need to demonstrate His love for us by being examples of it through our interactions with others. Everyone in this world craves acceptance, and it is that need to feel accepted that we need to learn to love people while knowing that no one is “perfect”. God has loved us with an everlasting love, so the challenge for us is to demonstrate Jesus’ love for us through our actions if we want to maintain a “Christ-like” character and attitude in all that we do. Our demonstration of this love has to be so expressed in such a way, that a non-believer can tell that you are indeed the “genuine article” of a Christian.

It’s not enough to claim to be one (a Christian) when our attitudes don’t match our actions and character. People of the World know about Christ, but the unfortunate thing is that sometimes they don’t see Christ through His people. I remember having a conversation one time with a non-believer who once said to me, that I like your Christ, but I just don’t like His people because his treatment from supposed “Christians” by far did not exemplify what he thought would be the character and nature of the God we believe in. So my challenge to you today is do some major introspection and consider that the path to Salvation for others is sometimes not through what we say and do but by how we behave and live. Let us not be hypocritical in our conduct and let’s focus on having our actions must match our belief system, Amen! We are known to be Christians by our LOVE.

I pray that this song blesses your Spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

We Won’t Stop Until We See You!

Hello Peeps!

I just had to post this song by William McDowell called The Cry. This song is so off the hook that I’m amazed that this man keeps bringing it all the time with new songs. Just when you thought the last songs his put together were amazing, His worship just keeps going to a new level. This song will shake you to the core and energize you if you feel like your struggling in your Faith. Let’s just remember that Faith isn’t a “feeling”, it’s a choice you make to trust and believe beyond what you know, what you see, and what you hear.

John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

It’s very easy to be distracted by rumors, by the whisperings of gossipers etc….but you have to learn to silence the riff raff and still your heart and know that God remains God no matter what people say. Your life’s mission should be to move and operate by FAITH. Remember what Faith is by meditating on this verse:

Hebrews 11:1 [Full Chapter]
By Faith We Understand ] Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

There will be people assigned to you wanting to see you either fail or succeed in your life and it is so important that in every season when God wants to elevate you, you maintain your focus on Him who brought you to where you are. As far as I’m concerned, I am of the opinion that if God brought me to a place, only He can take me out of it. Do not put your faith in people that try to stir up the pot in your life to fill you with doubts and questions regarding your destiny if they can’t see the road God put you on.

Proverbs 3:5-6 [Full Chapter]
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Remember that when God gives you “talents”, it is for the purpose of expanding His Kingdom with the use of your gifts. If God entrusts you to be a steward in your workplace, then make sure you are using your talents to do good in all that you do. Do not have the “form of Godliness” in your conduct and then “deny it’s power”.

2 Timothy 3: 1-5 (NKJV) Perilous Times and Perilous Men But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Humility is the character we should embrace as part of our Christ-like attitude and identity. It is important to have self-control so that when people try to stir-up the pot in your life to shake your foundation of faith, you can stand strong and firm and not be moved by gossips, and the back-biting and jeering of those that secretly want to see you fail. God will put them in line and will show you the rewards of remaining in “right-standing” before Him. Don’t do as the World does and choose to operate like you are set-apart for His purpose and will on Earth as it is in Heaven.

I believe that in this season, God wants to elevate some people who are willing to mature in this area and will position those to be promoted when the understand that their destiny doesn’t rely on the opinions of others but rather on the PURPOSE of His will for our life, which is to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. When you are blessed, you can become blessed to be a blessing to others who need a dose of God’s touch in their lives that will bring about transformation and elevation as people renew the spirit of their minds to become more and more Christ-like in all they endeavour to do in this life. So people, make it a mission to do good in everything that you do, Amen! I pray that this song uplifts you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

We Will Wait On You!

Hi Peeps!

Psalm 16:8 NKJV – I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

Today, I want to post this awesome song by All Nation Worship Assembly Atlanta called Come and Move. Sometime, when you are waiting on the promises of God, people can get impatient with the time frame that God places on us to help us nurture the ability to handle the blessings He wants to give you.

Sometimes, when you are waiting for something really really Good from God, you have to consider where your frame of mind is at during the time when you are waiting. Can you handle it well after receiving what the Lord has for you? Some people want wealth but can’t handle their finances, some people want houses, but can’t handle the apartments their in, some people want Cars, but can’t handle regular transportation (Buses, trains, taxis etc) that is already at their disposal; and some want spouses but can’t handle their current familial relationships and friend relationships that they already do have. If you can’t handle that which is already been given to you, then don’t expect the greater if you can’t change your mindset.

Psalm 27:14 [Full Chapter]
Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

2 Peter 1:21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Lamentations 3:26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the Lord.

The act of waiting isn’t intended to torment you. It’s to nurture a Spirit of Maturity to handle what you receive with true gratitude and respect.

Respect is earned… and we earn it by persevering, by waiting, by nurturing a heart that understands the meaning of being patient and all the while always giving thanks. I challenge you to consider where your heart and mind is at when you are asking God for something or someone.

Are you Seeking God just to simply answer your prayer or are you seeking a true intimate relationship with Him so that you can know how to satisfy the desire of the Lord’s heart in order for Him to satisfy yours?

Seek God in all the things you do and you will never be disappointed when He blesses you. The whole point is, is to set aside your wants, and seek first the Kingdom and its righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. I pray that as you listen to this song, you will remember that. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

A Billion Years Ahead…

Hi Peeps!

I just had to post this amazing song that’s in my spirit right now by Trip Lee Feat. Taylor Hill called Billion Years. I just think the if we think of what the world could be like from a billion years from now, where would this world be? I find it interesting that the Bible verse of the day on Biblegateway.com is this:

Romans 14:8 NKJV – For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

Church – We are the Bride of Christ

If we have eternity with God in mind, 1000 years is like a day to God as much as a day is like a 1000 years if you take a look at this scripture:

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

A thousand years seems like a long time to us, but in actual fact it is not a long time at all. I mean, we are living in an age where we have people born past the year 2000 as being called “Millennials”. I mean that word didn’t even exist until we moved past the fear of the Y2K bug that was supposed to return us back to the stone age … and yet that didn’t happen. So now we have to consider the fact that maybe people will live long enough on Earth for “Billionnials” to be born.

My question as a Christian is what will happen when we hit the billionnial year?

Obviously we won’t live long enough in this world to find out but can you imagine moving past the idea of being a billienial and simply being a believer that has an eternity with Christ Jesus in Heaven? It’s wonderful to want to go to Heaven, because most people want to live there, but what we must do is make our current lives count.

Our current relationship with God is “the day” that is like a 1000 years to God. We need to make each Day count, because each day is accounted for as being equal to 1000 years.

How long has God waited for us to choose Him as the Truth, the Way and the Life?

That is a question I pose to all of us seeking to deepen our relationship with Him. That’s what this song got me thinking about. I pray that as you listen to this song, you will meditate on this question I have posed, so that it makes you ponder about deepening your connection and relationship with God if you especially feel like you’ve drifted far from Him as being your first love. Return to your First Love People! God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

The Light of God’s Word

Hi Peeps!

Today, I wanted to study my Bible and went to Biblegateway.com and saw that this was the Scripture of the day:

Psalm 119:130 NKJV The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

Isn’t it amazing that the Word of God, gives us light which is often referred to or symbolic of “revelation” because if you can imagine yourself walking in the dark without a flash light, what ends up happening is that you will most likely bump into things and potentially trip over somethings simply because you can’t see. Darkness in this situation is symbolic of “ignorance”, or lack of “illumination” and is also a lack of “revelation” because light always dispels darkness and it also reveals that which remained hidden from your vision. Ask yourself, in terms of having a vision for your life, how much have you spent walking around in ignorance (lack of revelation) simply because you didn’t have all the information (revelation) you needed in order to move forward?

When God reveals the plans that He has for you, He will always do it in such a way that He will always shed light to a situation that remained hidden from you in order to:

  1. Address issues that you may have ignored (whether they are personal issues, or relational issues you have with other people);
  2. To sharpen your discernment so that you can operate with wisdom;
  3. To help you to build and move by faith in any situation even when the instructions He gives you, don’t make any sense;
  4. To help you increase your spiritual giftings to operate at a level that I would classify as above average (if you seek to grow in this area of your life, that is…) as you build a level of intimacy with God that causes you to operate in the realm of the supernatural

I believe that as Christians, we shouldn’t settle for the basic level of Christianity that simply knows how to go to church, get your Word fix, go home and still live a life that is unchanged. The Word of God (The BIBLE), is and will always be Transformational and filled Revelation that it’s not enough to read it without pursuing to receive a revelation through the scriptures that we read that causes us to experience an inner and personal change in our lives and in our character. Many of us know how to quote Scriptures, but do we take a second to actually meditate on what it says so that it sparks in us the need to renew our thinking and change our behaviour so that we can become more like Christ? Are we loving enough, are we compassionate enough, are we humble enough, are we merciful enough….? etc etc….

These are the types of questions that run through my mind on a daily basis when I think about how much I want to function and be more Christ-like in my attitude and in my Character. I want to be so Christ-like in all that I do that a person who doesn’t believe in God will want to know about Him simply because they experienced the love of Christ through my actions.

As Christians, I’ve been wondering how potent is our Faith in God that it brings about transformation to those that don’t know God? How deep is our faith, that our Character speaks for itself, and it’s not something people have to dig through in order to figure out where you stand…? It has to be crystal clear where you stand, so that people know that you aren’t operating in such a way that you’re undercover and in the “closet” about your Christianity because you recognize that we can all still live in this World with other people but not act like we’re of it? DO NOT aim to be hypocritical as a way of life. We have to be so distinct and make a distinction as to where we stand in all that we do even when faced with the threat of being ridiculed by those that may call you a “goodie-two shoes” etc etc. Being a Christian is not easy…so whoever tells you that it’s an easy road, hasn’t really lived the lifestyle for real. Temptations exist around us to thwart us off the road of living a life in right-standing with God. Yes, you may fall sometimes, but confess quickly and strive to get back up again from whence you fell. God will always gladly pick you up from where you fell if you purpose in your heart to continue to follow Him.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

John 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

John 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

Lately, have found myself in situations where I had to distinctly tell people where I stood clearly even if it meant that it would offend someone. Simply declaring “I’m a Christian” shouldn’t be a cause to offend someone, but it does offend when it causes one to feel convicted by where you stand. As the Bible states: The Light shines in the Darkness, but the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:5 ). We cannot downplay the pressure to compromise your belief system in order to “fit-in” the “World system” is real my friends. I think that as you continue your personal walk with God, you will find yourself tested in this area and this will show you where the level of your Spiritual Maturity is at. If you find yourself compromising just to appear agreeable to the masses, you will have to question how strong are your convictions? Hopefully, they’re strong enough that you aren’t fazed by those that don’t agree with you. Continue to remain as Salt to the Earth and not let anyone water you down so that you can simply blend in with the “Crowd”. Choose to Remain SET APART no matter what, is my message, Amen!

I have this song by Andy Mineo called You Can’t Stop Me! I love how he didn’t let the pigment of his skin stop him form rapping and making music that Glorfies God. Dare to be You in Christ Jesus! I pray that this song blesses you today. God Bless You Everybody! 🙂

Not Today Satan!

Hey Peeps!

I just had to post this awesome track by KB feat. Andy Mineo called Not Today Satan! The song is upbeat and off the hook to me! Sometimes when you’re going through trials and setbacks, there comes a time when you build up a fight in you where you find yourself saying “Enough is Enough! Not today SATAN! NOT TODAY!!!!!”. I think this song speaks to me in that respect. Sometimes you find you mind being attacked with doubt, fear, distractions that cause you to not even think about praying to God for the answers to your situation. All I can say is that no matter what it is… remember God and pray. A day without prayer is like going through the entire day without food. The less we pray, the more malnourished we will become “Spiritually speaking” and the more weaker we become in the faith. The Word of God (The BIBLE) is your daily bread, so I’m going to speak for myself, and try and make an effort to practice daily meditation of God’s Word in my heart and seek not only to simply read from the Word but receive revelation and work out what the Lord reveals practically in my life. I pray that this song blesses you today. It gives me this feeling of I can fight, I can win type of feeling. God has got your back people! God Bless You and enjoy this song. 🙂

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
