Don’t allow yourself to be trapped in a cycle of self-condemnation
I know I posted a song already for today, but I just heard two more songs sung by Lecrae in collaboration with some others and thought I should post them here today. The first song sung by Lecrae feat. Kierra “Kiki” Sheard and Jawan Harris is called Worth It. I think it’ll encourage anyone who is struggling with some weaknesses in their lives. Sometimes, we can get into a place where we land in a place of self-condemnation as we face our weaknesses. Just realize that you aren’t superhuman, you are a sinner just like me, in need of a Great God who is our Saviour, Jesus Christ. He is the One that is able to renew our strength when we are weak. He is the lifter of our down-trodden faces when we feel discouraged and filled with lamentations as we kick ourselves over our weaknesses. Don’t remain in a place filled with self-condemnation when God is able to redeem you when you confess your sins and/or weaknesses to God and ask for His forgiveness. He is able to forgive you if you just confess with your mouth and are truly contrite in your spirit. He is able to redeem you.
I know that even for those who are in ministry, people may look up to you as the example that everybody else should follow and that can add pressure to you to “act” good all the time in the presence of people when you too may even be struggling with your own weaknesses. I think that we should be mindful of the fact that no matter who you are, whether your a regular Christian sitting in the pew or a Christian in full-time ministry, you are still human, and as humans, we can all make mistakes. You have weaknesses so do not beat yourself up if you are struggling in some way with them. Rather, put your trust in God who is able to deliver you from all that you feared. Don’t act in isolation. Rather, learn to lean on someone who you can trust who is also mature in the faith and who is able to counsel you in the right direction. I pray that this song I’ve posted for today ministers to your spirit today.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
The last song also sung by Lecrae Feat. Taylor Hill is called Cry For You. This song sounds so amazinnnnng on surround sound. I know it’ll bless you. I pray that these two songs bless your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
I just had to post this song that we sing at my church called King Of My Heart by Kutless. How many of you know that the Lord is Good?! For me, God is greater than good. Words really can’t describe how good He has been to me. I’m amazed at His unending love for me. I’m amazed at how He’s kept my sanity intact after all the stuff I’ve been through to even reach this point. God is a good God. I don’t know what other people may have been through, but if you’re alive and you’re reading this, then that’s something to give God praise about. Some people didn’t wake up to see a “today”, so give God all the praise. I pray that this song sung by Kutless ministers to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
I wanted to post this awesome song by Jay Alexander feat. Aaron Thomas called Here With Me. It’s actually an old song but I really love it and it encourages me when I’m feeling down and alone. God is with us when we feel lonely. He will never leave us nor forsake us so we just need to be encouraged and know that no matter what trials or issues you face, you are not as abandoned as you might feel. God is your very present help in your time of need. He will always be there for you no matter what. I pray that this song ministers to your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
I just had to post this song by the Sidewalk Prophets called Come to the Table. I like the fact that Jesus allowed his disciples to sit with Him at the same table with all of their imperfections and all and just fellowship with one another. None of the disciples were perfect and some of them tended to be self-righteous and judgmental. Regardless of that fact, Jesus embraced all of them and mentored each one of them because He loved them all unconditionally. As Christians, we have to learn to love in this manner. I can testify that it isn’t always easy to love everybody, because we too have our own imperfections and weaknesses that we need to deal with; however, having said that though, we can still strive to demonstrate a Christ-like love to everyone we encounter. We can only grow in our faith when we increase in our capacity to love and extend our love to others who seem loveless and soulless.
Love does not discriminate, it embraces all that are willing to receive it. Personally, I still feel like I’m working on this “Christ-like” love in my daily walk. I do get people that challenge me, but this is how God shows me what I need to do in order to be more like Him. When I recognize the areas I fall short, grace allows me to grow and show compassion to those seemingly not deserving of it. Agape love is no simple feat since it’s an ongoing process to grow from love to love to the point where it becomes second nature to operate in that realm where Jesus was able to demonstrate it throughout all His actions. May we strive to be more like Jesus everyday, Amen. I pray that this song blesses Your spirit today. God Bless you everybody! 😀
I know I already did a long post for today but I just wanted to post one more song today that I just heard to bless your spirit by Hillsong Worship called What A Beautiful Name. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today as it has mine. God is soooooo awesome! God Bless You everybody! 😀

It’s such a cool song and I dedicate it to those that maybe facing difficult times whether it be financial, emotional, relational, familial or health-related problems. Just know that God is always on your side no matter what it is that you go through. Be encouraged and I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
John 16:33 [Full Chapter]
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
I know I already posted a song for today but this one song sung by Blanca just had to be done today. It’s called Today. The beat is kickin’ and I loveeeee it. I pray that it picks you up if you’re feeling down today; plus, It’s great workout music!
The last song I want to post is by The Afters called Live On Forever. This song isn’t new but I still love it. I pray that these songs bless your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody 😀 !
Today, I just want to post this song by JAI called Stand Out. I think that as Christians, we should stand out in a crowd in such a way that we can be easily identified as Christians not simply by our “appearance” but by our conduct and behaviour. Being a Christian isn’t a “Look” because some can have the form of Godliness and still deny its power. In my opinion, being a Christian is a state of being; it’s a choice to follow Jesus and live out your life believing in Him and all that He has taught us to be on the basis of His life written in the scriptures. Being a Christ follower is choosing to renew your mind and allowing yourself to have the mind of Christ Jesus. What you follow is what you become and what you believe in is what you will ultimately demonstrate through your actions. So today, think about what it is that you believe in and consider that your actions are a reflection of what you believe in inwardly. I pray that this song by JAI blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
Perilous Times and Perilous Men
3 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Today, I want to post this wonderful song called Holy Spirit by Tina Campbell known to be one of the sisters that sing as a duet in Mary Mary. The Holy Spirit is considered as the “Third Person” of God since we have: (1) “God the Father”; (2) “God the Son”; and then (3) “God the Holy Spirit”. The Holy Spirit is described by Jesus as “The Helper” in John 14:26 and is also referred to as “the Spirit of truth” in John 15:26.
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
[ The Coming Rejection ] “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
The Holy Spirit comes upon us when we become baptized by water. Water Baptism allows us to acknowledge, confirm and affirm our Faith in Jesus as we wash away our past selves and renew our minds with a new found faith in Christ as our Saviour. No longer do we walk with the old and worldly mind-set because now we have found a new life and a new mindset that is purpose-driven to walk in the light of God’s Word which is found in The BIBLE.
The Baptism of Fire comes upon us when the Holy Spirit starts to ignite the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our lives whether it be by speaking in tongues, prophesying, evangelism, gifts of healing, the ability to deliver people from demonic oppression (deliverance ministry), interpretation of tongues, seeing visions and dreams and being able to interpret these dreams and visions, and the list goes on. I believe that as believers, we ought to be functioning in any one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If we aren’t operating in any of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as a manifestation of our faith, then I think that as people we need to consider that something isn’t lining up in our lives if none of these gifts provided by the Holy Spirit is functioning whatsoever in our lives. I don’t believe as Christians, that we ought to be passive about the workings of the Holy Spirit. If anything, as believers we should be manifesting the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.
The most important factor for any Christian wanting to be able to function with the gifts of the Holy Spirit is this important requirement of REPENTANCE. Without repentance in a Christian’s life, you will not be able to function in any of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Yes, you do need to be water baptized to affirm your faith in God; however, what good is baptism when you also need to be genuinely repentant in order to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Even Peter the apostle doesn’t downplay the requirement and need for REPENTANCE in order to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit if you look at the following scripture:
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
So for today, the message I am stressing in this post today is that us Christians need to be repentant in order to function in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Without repentance, I highly doubt that a person could function with the gifts of the Holy Spirit at its full potential if we allow sin to keep us in bondage. The Holy Spirit can flow in a Christian’s life when a Christian makes it a point to operate in the realm of seeking to live a holy and godly life, a life filled with sanctification, a life seeking to operate with the mind of Christ Jesus, a life that is in pursuit of virtue and a life that seeks to be like Jesus in every way through conduct, deeds and actions. I believe that this is what we ought to do; pursue righteousness and Godliness as a way of life so that the Lord can use us to do miraculous things. If we don’t pursue such virtues, then don’t we fall short of the Glory of God? Let us pursue God like King David did in the Bible and run after God’s heart so that we can become more and more like Him in all that we say and do, Amen! Meditate on this today and I pray that this song by Tina Campbell blesses your spirit today. God bless You Everybody 😀 !
Today, I want to post this song by Andy Mineo called You Will. Right now this song is my jam lol 😀 . Many people can discourage you on your path to success and some may even tell you that “You can’t do this or that”, but when you have God on your side, nothing can be impossible for you that believes. You just have to determine within yourself with whom it is that you will put your trust? Will you trust in what others say you can or cannot do? Or, will you trust in God who tells you that nothing is impossible for you if you just believe?
Luke 1:37 [Full Chapter] – For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Matthew 19:26 [Full Chapter]
But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 10:27 – But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
I pray that this song by Andy Mineo blesses your spirit today. Be encouraged and know that you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength, Amen! God Bless You Everybody! 😀
