We All Need the Son!

Hello Peeps!

Instead of putting up Carols for Christmas Eve, I wanted to put up this upbeat song by Livrè called Perception. Whether we realize this or not, we are ALL in need of a Saviour, and our Saviour is Jesus Christ.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Image result for God with usThe name Immanuel
or Emmanuel means in (Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל‬, “God with us“).  When you go through life, you have to know Who you are walking with in your daily affairs. Some people in this world believe that there is no God, but when a crisis hits, people call on a God that they refused to acknowledge as their Saviour when it’s convenient for them. The great thing is that Jesus doesn’t care about how passive or obstinate we were in ignoring His voice and His message of Salvation. He greatly rejoices when we call upon His name at all. However, we shouldn’t just call on God whenever we’re simply in trouble or in a crisis. We should recognize that there is indeed power in the name of Jesus. Jesus defeated death at the cross so that we could have everlasting life and life more abundantly.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

So for today, remember the reason for the season of Christmas and be grateful and thankful that God came because He really cares for both you and me. I pray that this song blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody and Merry Christmas Eve!
