Greater Works to Be More Like You

Hello Peeps!

I feel like posting a few songs here to boost your spirit today. The first song I have is this amazing song by James Fortune & FIYA called More Like You.

I think that when a person is filled with doubts, despair, fears etc, it’s important to anchor your faith in God in any crisis. My interest in the topic of spiritual warfare comes from going through many battles since I was a young child up until now. God has taught me to fight with Him as my anchor of strength. Yes, I did battle real spiritual oppression, but I also had to deal with battling antagonistic people as well especially when I got saved at aged 16 while I lived in China before I moved to Canada. Spiritual warfare goes beyond just dealing with demonic forces, witchcraft, curses, and spiritual oppression. I believe that the ultimate battle that anyone may face in life, is the one that you will have with your mind. The great thing is, we can rest assured that we can win any battle we face if remember what mind we want to anchor ourselves with. I choose to have the mind of Christ Jesus, because with Him on my side, I cannot lose.

For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Living Before God Our Father ] Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

This can only be made manifest in your life if you meditate and read your Bible to gain revelation of what is written through the scriptures. Reading on the topic of spiritual warfare pro-actively is also beneficial to any Christian wanting to walk victoriously in life as you gain wisdom on what it means to have The Mind of Christ.

I personally endeavor to cultivate not only having the mind of Christ but having the heart of Christ Jesus in my personal walk. Jesus walked with such a  grace that held such immense authority that darkness had to flee and tremble at the mention of His name. Can you imagine what it would be like if as Christians we fully embraced our identity and authority in Christ Jesus and walked around the cities we lived in and people would just get healed or delivered simply because your shadow touched them or your hand brushed their body? Can you imagine a world with people operating at this high level of Faith? Well, the reason why we don’t often see these types of things happening is because our minds won’t go there. I believe that as Christians, we should strive to do greater things than what we already know has been done in the Bible. In fact, I believe the Lord encourages this…so in your personal time with God, seek to do the greater things and pray for the Lord to show you how you can do greater works than these to impact the Kingdom of God here on Earth, Amen! 😀

The Answered Prayer ] “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

I pray that these songs I have posted for today will bless your spirit. God Bless You Everybody! 😀

    • Amen to that. Some people want the benefits of the relationship without actually committing to one with God. A “friends with benefits” relationship isn’t what God wants with us. We have to desire to be real and want to commune with God and know Him on a personal level without the pretense. We can only do this by meditating on the Word and through prayer as you mentioned. 👍
