Hello Peeps!
Today, I want to post an inspirational video about a woman who views herself in the light of her abilities rather than settling to be defined by her disability. Anybody can face a trial or situation that affects their physical abilities and capabilities; however, a person’s disability doesn’t necessarily have to define who they are. How you perceive yourself in light of whatever obstacle you face is what defines who you are. If you believe yourself to be a failure, then you will be; but, if you decide that you can overcome whatever tries to weigh you down, then you will overcome that which tried to disable you.
The speaker in this video talks about her “fears”, and many of you know this acronym concerning fear as being “F-alse E-vidence A-ppearing R-eal”. If you choose to succumb to your fears, you disable your ability to move forward from where you are to where God wants you to be. If you choose to overcome that which you feared, then you will see no limits in everything that you pursue to do and accomplish. So be encouraged today and learn to overcome the things which you feared by pressing forward towards the goal and never looking back (Philippians 3:14), Amen! I pray that this video blesses your spirit today! 😀
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
I’d never heard that acronym. I love it. Thanks for your always encouraging posts! I love your blog!
