I have two inspirational videos for you today to get y’all thinking about your personal walk with God. The first video is a reflection of how we treat people that we encounter in our everyday lives. Whatever we have done to another person or person(s), we have done it as if we have done it to the Lord Our God. It is very important to put away your personal issues of pride and prejudices when encountering people that are different from yourselves. God wants us to treat people in the way that we would like to be treated in return. Even Jesus’ disciples had to inquire of the Lord Jesus, as they asked Him: What was the greatest commandment in the law out of all the teachings?, and this was Jesus’ response to their question:
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Clearly, how we treat one another is a reflection of our true “Heart Condition”. If we have love in our hearts, then it should be demonstrated through our actions. If you read 1 Corinthians chapter 13, the greatest gift that is mentioned in verse 13 is Love.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
This just goes to show you that Jesus, Who is the Author and Finisher of Love itself, does not downplay the power of it since He is the living demonstration of what Love is by what He did for all of us at Calvary.
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Therefore, as Christians, we must strive to demonstrate the Love of God to all people in this manner through our actions. We cannot be all “lip-service” with no actions to back up our claims of “loving one another as Jesus has loved us”. We have to operate with the heart of Jesus in all our actions so that people can see and believe that God truly loves them when they encounter a TRUE Believer. I feel that when the world encounters the love of a true believer of Jesus Christ through their actions, the demonstration of such love toward a non-believer should be so powerful that it can impact a person to change their hearts and lives to become followers of God’s love as exemplified by a Christian believer’s actions. We can’t evangelize effectively about our Faith in God and persuade others to follow our God if we are hypocritical in our conduct. We must strive to be the genuine article in all that we do and we will see the power of God move in other people’s lives effectively. So, think about all this as you watch the following videos I have posted here for you today.
And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
The next video that I have for you today, is a prayer to God when you feel weary, burdened and tired within your soul. When I watched this video, I had two scriptures that came to mind to give you some sense of encouragement for your day when you are facing something that doesn’t give you peace, but stirs up turmoil to make you feel uneasy in your day. Remember, that no matter what you go through in life, God is always there with you and He is the One that is able to give you rest. You just have to learn to place your trust in the right place. Place your trust in Jesus, and He will give your rest.
And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
I pray that this last video blesses your spirit today! Be encouraged and God Bless You Everybody! 😀
