Hello Peeps!
Well, like I said before, I seem to be on a motivational videos type of mood. People tend to idolize or admire others that they wish they could be and I don’t think that that’s a bad thing in and of itself; however, there comes a point where we need to move past the idolization and admiration and focus on what it is that we need to do in order to change and be successful.
Reviewing someone’s journey to success can give you a scope of what adversities lie ahead to which they had to face and combat in order to obtain the results they managed to achieve and receive. On the other hand, we must note that their journey is “their journey” and not necessarily “yours” to follow. As people, we can learn from other people’s trials and challenges; however, we must not focus solely on the trials that they had to face when in pursuit of happiness and success, but we should focus on “their mindset” during the trials that they endured to the end. Whatever it is that you meditate on a daily basis, your mind is sure to follow. If you believe yourself to be a “failure”, then everything you do will contribute to that meditation of failure. If you believe yourself to be an overachiever, then everything you do will contribute to that mediation of success. The Bible even tells us that how we think about ourselves determines who we choose to be if you think of this verse of scripture in the Book of Proverbs:
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
It’s one thing to guard your mind and ears from any meditation of discouragement, fear and failure, but it is your heart that you must guard above all else, because what you bind to your heart as TRUTH, is what will ultimately become your reality. Your heart has the ability to embrace whatever you receive as “Your Truth” from what you hear through your ears and what you meditate on through your mind; so guard your heart above all else and remember to do what is says in these following verses of Scripture:
[ Meditate on These Things ] Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
I pray that this short inspirational video blesses your spirit today. God Bless You Everybody! 😀
