Today, I wanna post an upbeat song by yours truly, Tye Tribbett called Already Won. I just heard this song today and I just love it! No matter what circumstances you face, when you have God on your side, your battles are already won people! It’s all a matter of perspective. I know what it’s like to feel defeated, I know what it’s like to feel like you are at your lowest point, I know what it feels like to even feel like you’ve had enough and you want to throw in the towel, but despite all of these negative emotions you may feel at anytime, or any terrible experiences that you may have had to face in your life, you can fight on! You can win with God on your side. 🙂
I think ever since I was a kid, I’ve had to battle one sickness or ailment over another such as continuous nosebleeds that would make me pass out at (age 6-8), a strange form of arthritis found in my pelvis that would lead me to be unable to walk without severe excruciating pain as a kid (5 years – 8 years of age), asthma (majority of my childhood up until age 12), ulcers in my stomach that would make me puke blood (at ages 9-14), dizzy spells (ages 9-13), a Car accident involving being hit by a Bus (age 30) and then of course now it’s encephalitis – a viral infection of the brain that causes short-term memory loss (age 31-32). It’s amazing the types of things I’ve been through and this is just to list a few things that I’ve had to experience in this short lifespan, but through it all, God has been with me and I give Him the highest praise! 😀
I think I mentioned in a previous post that there was a generational curse that used to operate in my family concerning a strange pattern with respect to the death of the twins on both sides of the family and seeing as how I’ve had several near death experiences in my life, you cannot view curses as something trivial and will eventually go away. That’s just pure ignorance at its finest. However, having said that though, you should never exalt a curse (or any curses for that matter) over your life from the truth of the fact that the covering of God is able to withstand any curse operating in your life through the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I’ve come close to death several times in my life that I know that I’ve got to give my God the highest praise for preserving my life. You never know when you will breathe your last breath, so it is important to cultivate a personal relationship with God right now because tomorrow is not promised to you my friends. In fact today is a gift from God so I say to you that Now is the time to give up your life to Jesus if you’ve been sitting on the fence about where you stand in Christ for so long, it’s time to jump with Jesus people! I’m not joking about this. Tomorrow is not promised so carefully consider where it is that you stand and give God praise that you saw a Today, Amen! God Bless You Everybody! 😀
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”’
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
