I just had to post this song by Korey Bowie called Love Is All to minister to your spirit today. I think that for people that are in a courtship or marital relationship, you have to be aware that you may face a lot of spiritual warfare when it comes to your relationships that are geared to destroy your connection with your significant other. I believe that a relationship involving one woman and one man isn’t just about the two people. I believe that when two people include God in the relationship, they become a three-corded rope that cannot be broken no matter what adversities they may face.
When I think of such a relationship, I am reminded of my grandparents who went through hell when they got married. They experienced hardship which included rearing children, experiencing ridicule by family members that thought they wouldn’t amount to anything, and yet they stuck together through all that and God blessed them. My grandfather became an ambassador and traveled with the family from country to country despite the hardship he had experienced trying to feed 5 children. Many of the family members thought that my grandparents wouldn’t amount to anything because it seems like hardship seemed to be something that was trying to weigh them down, but it didn’t stop their faith in God and God came through and blessed them with houses they didn’t have to build, experiences in foreign countries that others would have envied to have experienced, and connections to people that they never thought they’d ever be connected to for future business needs.
Do not take the people you have in your current life for granted. You just don’t know where they’ll be tomorrow. Do not pay attention to those that make fun of you today, they don’t know where you are headed tomorrow when you have God on your side. It is always important to have God be the center of your life not matter what adversities you face. I am facing my own adversity with my short-term memory loss and who knows who could be laughing at me today concerning this sickness, but I am focused on my tomorrow because I know that if God can take me through this, then the victory is already won. I am not concerned by other people’s opinion of me concerning my today. Sometimes, when I go for my assessments, some of these practitioners tell me negative things, but you have to guard your mind from the negative confession of others and remember what God says about you. “I have the mind of Christ even in my crisis”. I don’t care about the report of others, I care about the report of the Lord. Whose report shall you believe?
O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
At the end of the day, you need to believe in the report of the Lord. Meditate on what God says about you through His Word (The BIBLE). Just because people ridicule you today, or are naysayers concerning your life today, doesn’t mean you have to accept their report. Remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, your soul should know this very well.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
There comes a point where you just don’t concern yourself with people that are not out for your best interests. People may love you today and hate you tomorrow, but God’s love for you will always stand firm forever. He is unchanging. He does not waver between two opinions. He remains the same yesterday, today and forever.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
You haven’t got the time to waste with wishy washy individuals that don’t cultivate a good attitude concerning where you will be tomorrow. Surround yourself with positive-minded people. Feed your spirit with words of affirmation. Don’t wait to be acknowledged by people that refuse to acknowledge your existence today. Rather, go out and reach out to those that need to know that there are people out there that do care for them. You are the answer that the world seeks. Stop waiting for people to reach out to you and go out and reach out to others. You’ll be surprised how many doors open for you when you do that. You’ll be surprised by how God will start to bless you when you think outside the box and when you refuse to remain self absorbed. Take some risks and reach out to people that you never thought you’d reach out to. Say hello to a stranger. Smile at someone and try to be the very best person that you can be. The World needs to see that there is a light at every dark tunnel because you exist in the world.
Relationships don’t happen unless two people attempt to reach out to the other. God wants to have a relationship with you. Reach out to Him and see what happens. In the same way with human relationships, if you want to be a friend to someone, you’ve got to step out and reach out to them. Stop waiting for a miracle when you can take action. Doors open for you when you step out in faith.
I have come to a place where I want to surround myself with people who are for real. I’m tired of the wishy washy Christianity that exists today, the pick-n-choose type of “Christians” that “talk the walk”, but don’t really “walk the talk”. In no way am I saying that I’m better than them, but I honestly want to be around people who are more transparent, and not pretentious. It’s okay to have weaknesses, but I’d rather talk to a person who’s a drug addict and is for real about their weakness and isn’t ashamed of admitting that they need help than walk around with the “holier-than-thou” group of people how pretend that they’ve never sinned in their entire life and act like they’re saints at all times while judging others with snobby faces looking down on those that need Jesus to help deliver them from the bondages that they face. No more cookie cutter messages, all I want is REAL TALK. Honestly, I could write a blog about all that, but for now, all I want to say is that we need to change our hearts in order to reach the masses. We need to have the heart of Jesus if we want to be effective in evangelizing our reason for believing that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour and is the Only God in this world that we should all follow.
God is real, I’ve experienced Him, and I just pray, that if anybody is struggling to believe in Him due to poor experiences from other Christian believers or from people that have steered them away from believing that God truly loves you, I pray that you may forgive those that have hurt you and not allow such experiences from robbing you of a true relationship with Jesus Christ. We are known to be Christians by our love, but unfortunately, not all Christians demonstrate love properly because of hypocrisy. It is my prayer, that people draw near to God regardless of the bad experiences you’ve had with others that don’t really exhibit the true fruits of what a real Christian is like. We are known to be Christians by our Love. I pray that as we go about our daily affairs, we really work on demonstrating that love with power so that people will come to know that Jesus really loves them and He wants to have a relationship with you. I pray that this song I’ve posted here today ministers to your spirit today. God bless you everybody! 😀
