I just want to post this song by the Newsboys called That’s How You Change the World! I just thought that this song was out of this world, slash AWESOME! haha 😀 We are lights in this dark world that lacks vision for where people ought to be going. Jesus is the Light to our salvation and like my Pastor Austyn often says in some of his sermons “A Life without Christ is a Crisis”.
Ask yourself, are you in a crisis right now? Do you even perceive God in your circumstances or are you going at this whole thing alone?
Sometimes the answers we seek are right in front of us but because we have tuned out the voice of the Holy Spirit, we lean onto the other voices that speak of doubt, fear and discouragement. It is so important to anchor your spirit with the Word of God (The BIBLE) and remember where your help comes from. You haven’t got the time to wrestle with fear that distracts you from pursuing your answers found in Christ Jesus.
REMEMBER: FEAR is F-False E-Evidence A-Appearing R-Real.
You haven’t got the time to navigate your way through life with maybes, coulda, woulda shouldas, but inevitably didn’t do anything at all to take the first leap of Faith. Ask yourself what is holding you back? Is it possibly FEAR? What are you afraid of? We need to develop a sense of barrier-breaking faith in order to do what seemingly seems impossible. You won’t know until you try right?
I remember when I was younger (I think I was aged 12), I climbed up one of the craters of Mount Kilimanjaro called Mount Longonot in Kenya and totally freaked out that I had to do this on a school trip. There were many steep ridges and places where you could fall to your death if you weren’t careful, but I just kept on climbing up until I got to the top. I think I even saw snakes during the journey as I was heading up that crater which totally freaked me out and I thought to myself, why in Heaven’s name am I doing this crazy thing?!. I thought I’d die lol :D. However, I didn’t and I managed to enjoy the view of the vast Rift Valley that can only be described as “epic”. Had I decided to freeze in fear, I don’t think I would have enjoyed such a beautiful view of the Rift Valley. So sometimes, you have to push the boundaries of your comfort zone in order to go to places where you know that you’d never go there by yourself and where you’ve never been before.
It’s like Star Trek where Captain Picard and his crew always seem to explore places they’ve never been before and discover new worlds and civilizations that they would never have known as having existed had they not traveled and explored new territories in space. How many of us are willing to push the envelope of our comfort-zones and tap into unchartered territories? It’s all in how you look at things. You will never know your true potential and ability to do great things if you remain comfortable in your comfort-zone. I dare you to try something different this year and see how much of “that something” new will change the course of your life. Challenge yourself and push yourself to go beyond what you’re comfortable with and you will see new doors and relationships open for you that no man can shut. We serve a God with No Limits and No Boundaries! Do you see increase all around You? Stretch Forth and Break Forth! Let God Release you and He’ll enlarge your territory, Amen! God Bless you everybody! 😀
I have one more song to bless your spirit by Jor’dan Armstrong called Angel. You know, whether you believe it or not, the world is filled with angels, guardian angels protecting you from evil and craziness that can exist in your life that can cause you to be lead astray. God wants to always guide us in the right direction but we as people need to learn how to become more sensitive to the things of the Spirit. You can only do that by meditating on God’s Word and changing your current behaviour to match that of the love of the Father. “We are known to be Christians by His Love” demonstrated through action. We cannot afford to be Christians in name only and not through action. Sometimes, I think the reason why people find it so difficult to believe in Our Saviour is because our actions as “Christians” don’t match our words. We cannot be effective if we are hypocritical in our conduct. If we want to reach people, we must change the way in which we conduct ourselves. God is real, but He is only as real as the love that you display and show to others. When I was “Catholic”, there was this song we use to sing where it says “We are known to be Christians by our Love” . If that is true, then you’ve got to ask yourself, are you representing the Father very well with your conduct? Or are you just a Christian in “Name only”? Think about that today and do some serious soul searching, Amen! God Bless you everybody. 😀
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
