It’s ok to Stand Out!

Hi Everybody!

I am in a praise mode right now. So much has been happening and I’m busy working on a personal project and reading some books right now that I haven’t had the time to devote to blogging,  but I just wanted to stop by and give praise to God since I’m in worship mode.

Lately, I feel this overwhelming sense of freedom and elation that makes me smile each day. It is the freedom of being who you really are, no longer confined to religious or legalistic spirits that criticize your walk in God trying to define you by their standards which do not match God’s definition of you.

That kind of freedom is bliss and blessed with you no longer feeling shackled by people’s opinion of who you are as you decide to be who God predestined you to be. It’s time to stand up and stand out for who you are in Christ. You no longer need to explain nor justify being who you are to anyone, because all you have to do is listen to Jesus’ voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit and obey, and you will fulfill your calling when you put all your trust in God.

Remember, God is the one who defines you and not through other people’s opinion of you, and trials are there to refine you and are not meant to destroy you. It’s all about having the right perspective about how you view yourself in your life. Your life is in God’s hands, but if you can’t even see yourself in God’s hands, then where are you? Are you lost? Do you know where you are? Do you know where you are going?  If you don’t know the answers to any of those questions, then you need to sit down and really do some serious introspection and analyze where are you in your walk. Are you trusting God? or are you trusting more in other people? Who’s opinion counts when it comes to defining who you are? Do you even know who you are and whose you are?

Think about these things as you meditate today.

God already saved you through His Son Jesus so that you and I could be free to be who He already predestined you to be. Just like how God told Jeremiah that He already knew him before he was even conceived in

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”,

God already had you and I in mind and knew that you’d come out perfect to be who He created you to be. You are not a mistake, you are fearfully and wonderfully made and anyone who undermines you, is actually undermining God’s design of you and they will be held to account for speaking down on you at His Judgment seat.

Be unashamed of embracing who you are and just enjoy being YOU, really!

King David understood who he was in God’s eyes when he wrote in

Psalm 139:14

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
It’s time for your soul to know this very well. God made you to be an answer to the world’s problems so don’t “question mark” yourself anymore when God made you for a divine plan “period”.

I have a song that I’m just jumping up and down for right now by Jai called Stand Out. I pray that it blesses your spirit as it has mine. I am unashamed of being who God created me to be and so will you.

Glory be to God!

God Bless you everybody!

  1. Girl you aptly described my recent post! Nothing, absolutely nothing shall separate me from the love of Christ – not even the opinion of the same type of people who NAILED Jesus to the cross. Fault finders are everywhere but as Christians our imperfections are an avenue for the glory of God to shine.

Loving the new look, BTW! 🙂

    • You know, as I was reading your latest post, I thought to myself…whoa! We are soo on the same page. God is definitely talking to us right about now if we are speaking the same language 😉
Thanks for the compliments on my new look. Thought it was time for something new in a new season of change. 😀
