Thinking_of_Others“I feel my purpose in life is to help others,” replied the young massage therapist I encountered at a salon. She seemed sweet, happy, and content with where her life had taken her.

So I inquired, “What do you mean?”

“Well,” she continued, “I am an Indian healer and I feel as if it is my purpose to help those in need. If someone needs an extra plate of food, I bring it to them. If someone needs me to pray over them, I do that.  If someone needs a healing massage, I give them one.  My late grandmother was a healer and she has passed that gift onto me. So I set aside my life to help others. And am available at a moment’s notice.”

I have to admit I was a little taken back by her comment as I had yet to be approached by someone who believes…
