Well, I’ve been under the weather for the past few days and wasn’t able to attend church this morning but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop praising! God deserves the highest praise even if you can’t do it at church, do it wherever you go! God has done so many good things for me and still continues to be AWESOME!!!!!!! David made worship a Kingdom thing. It wasn’t something that existed only in His palace…it was everywhere he went. He worshiped God in the city, in the fields where ever he was, God heard his Praise for him through this young man. God got the highest praise from little David. David could have been filled with self-pity by feeling literally caved in since his enemies were everywhere on the look out trying to destroy his destiny, but He chose to praise God in his life despite his circumstances. I don’t know about you, but that’s just amazing to me. The greatest psalms in the bible wouldn’t have existed if he didn’t know how to cheer himself up. We must be like that too. Worship is a heart thing lived out everyday. So today, stop looking at your problems and look at the evidence of God’s goodness in your life everyday. When you see God in all the small things He has done for you despite the trial, He becomes bigger and brighter in your eyes and in your heart. You’ll always have room to praise Him. He is that AWESOME. I have stuff going on right now, but my problems shouldn’t outweigh my praise. When we magnify our problems more than praising God, we shift our worship and start to idolize our problems and exalt them over the knowledge that God is great enough to destroy the works of the enemy(ies) in your life. Be like David, and worship like he did. He knew how to be a friend of God and I want to be a friend of God too. That’s what we must strive for.
I have an awesome song to bless you today by Dietrick Haddon called Your Love Holds Me Down. I know it’ll bless you. God bless you everybody!
