The Cell – Leave Your Prison!

Hi Everybody!

It’s been a dynamic weekend for me. I’ve been pretty busy with work and what not and have also been registered as an attendee for the Power Up Conference hosted by the Toronto Mass Choir. They are sooooooooo awesome and let me tell you I was in two sessions of vocal boot camp today and it was awesome!!!!!! I have never experienced this level of training for worship. These people are so amazing and I totally would recommend anyone who ever wants to do something like that in your neighborhood to go while you can. Grab every opportunity to enhance your giftings/anointing. I am soo exhausted though but I’m still pumped enough to give you guys a video of inspiration after all this because Praise is my WEAPON! Hallelujah!!!!! GIVE GOD PRAISE!!!!!! ok I guess you can tell I’m a little pumped and excited. The Conference isn’t over and it’s been an amazing 2 days of intensity and just being surrounded with God-fearing people wanting to grow in God has been an awesome awesome experience.  Those hooked up on my facebook page for this blog, you can check out the vid I posted on there after the second session of vocal boot camp. We were just Giving God all the praise. He is SOOOOOO GOOD. I just love God and had to share that with you all before I start this post.

Ok so for those following my blog, this whole week I’ve been meditating on what it means to Fear God (reverentially), to Repent, to recognize our Weaknesses or failures and to acknowledge that we need the help of our Savior in our Walk as we battle our weaknesses. Sometimes we accept the fact that God forgives us for our sins when we get saved, but we still end up in situations where we are still bound up by guilt and shame because we have not really learned to make Jesus Lord over all areas of our lives. Believe me, I’m still workin’ on it.  We still need His help after we are saved because sometimes we are left with scars from past hurts or are left with guilt and shame for things we struggle with in our path to righteousness. Reflect on allowing God into those areas of your Life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6) so let Him help you when you struggle with your weaknesses. He is a God that helps those that seek His help so when He comes to break you free from guilt and shame, from pain and discouragement, from hurt feelings and afflictions experienced by the injustice of others, ask yourself, Will you let JESUS break those things which are chaining you down from moving on and reaching your full potential and set you free???? Sometimes, we hold ourselves back from allowing Jesus to set us free in these areas because of how wounded we are, but wounds shouldn’t fester…Let God Heal every part of you so that you can become WHOLE again!

Here is a Short Vid to help you think about that last question and pray about the things that are keeping you bound up in the first place. Freedom comes when you admit you Need the Help of your LORD and SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST, SON OF GOD.

I also have a great song since I’m in such a singy and praise and worship mood to end this post for the weekend. It’s from Darwin Hobbs and it’s called Glorify Him. I Pray that it ministers to you today as it always does for me! GOD IS AWESOME EVERYONE!!!! Stay blessed everybody!

  1. Romans 12:2

Sherline, this one verse alone would be more than enough reason to justify my love for the Book of Romans! It bring me through SO much! Bless you–and so very pleased for you about your vocal boot camp there in Toronto!
